I have been riding a scooter for well over a year now, and when I saw this one at a reasonable price, I felt it was time for an upgrade. My first scooter was a joy to ride; easy to operate, quick, reliable, sturdy. But the solid tires were getting worn down and at risk of coming apart (I ran out of treads a while ago...) Over the 1.5 years of riding the thing daily, I felt I was beating the thing down to a pulp. A new one was necessary. And one that could handle over 300 pounds.Of the many out there to choose from, this seemed to have everything I was looking for. Well illuminated at night (the headlight is set low, near the front tire, which is a plus as more of the light reaches the road) and with front and rear disc brakes, very easy to stop on a dime. It picks up speed from a dead stop quickly, so I can zoom through a busy 4-way stop quickly and not cause frustration for drivers waiting for me to pass through. As with most scooters, you can choose the mode of operation from slow and economical, to turbo, for a bit of fun! The front and rear suspensions also comes in handy and makes riding a little more comfortable. The adjustable height of the handle bars is also very convenient as I can make the scooter fit me, not the other way around. And as can be seen from the photo of the display, there is quite a bit of information readily at hand. Not only can you change from Miles to Kilometers, but also from ºC to ºF.Functionality doesn't stop at the ability to switch from metric to standard US. You can track total miles per trip, maximum speed achieved per trip; this resets when the scooter is shut off. I just received this scooter and had a few substantial runs with it, and I haven't begun to check out all the functionality of this scooter. Which means that you do not need to be a scooter-geek in order to operate it; just set it up (easy), have a quick look through the little user manual, and go have some fun riding it.It is foldable; not only does the handle bar fold down, but the grips fold in near the stem of the handle bar to make it easy to store. My old scooter did not have that foldable grip feature, so it required constant attention when carrying it so as not to bump the ends of the grip against walls, doors, and other similarly tight passages.I can also testify to their support. They were quick to respond to my inquiries regarding shipping and helped resolve all my issues, which got me riding that same day.I'm not one to take photos of everything, so I posted only one which I felt needed to be shown. The display is adjustable, so you can have it in the position best suited to your height (along with the handle bar.). The controls are on a separate pad, with buttons labeled for Lights, Horn (klaxon), Speed setting, Mode (MPH vs. KM/H), and Power (On/Off). The throttle is located at your right thumb, as with most scooters.I very satisfied with the purchase. Looking forward to putting some miles on it!

First off, I'm a bigger guy at 6 foot and 270 pounds. I've wanted an e-scooter for a while now. Though I love my cars, I'm realizing it's silly burning gas to run a few sub 6 mile small neighborhood errands. What's been keeping from buying one is what I have found is that some from the companies that sell them; Is that they don't list the recommended max weight or you have to dig around to find it. When I saw the max weight at 440 in the main summary and read some of the other reviews, I pulled the trigger.Upon ordering, the scooter arrived 6 days ahead of schedule. Getting it out if the box, it was simple to set up. Per the video instructions on Amazon, I tightened up the bolts a bit, let it charge to full, downloaded the app, and was ready to go.This scooter is a beast, and that's in a good way. It's heavy, rugged, and simply looks the part of a serious adult scooter. A nice touch is the bright LED headlight, the decent sized water resistant detachable storage bag, and it even has turning signals. It has an 8 inch ground clearance to match the beefy tires and for the occasional dismount off a curb.I've spent about 7 miles so far "breaking it in". All but the steepest hills aren't a problem, and even on a steeper hill around my house (about 35-40 degrees) it slows to about 10mph in standard mode.Pros:It's fast, can get to 25 mph and get there rather quickly. It can tackle most hills with a heavier driver.Range I'm assuming is decent since I haven't lost a single hash yet on the battery guage after 7 miles of riding.Based on how long it took to charge out if the box, I estimate it takes only 5 or so hours to fully charge.Feels surprisingly light while using as an unpowered traditional scooter for a bit more exercise.Handlebar "dash board" is easy to understand and use.Cruise control feature.Big ole tires and higher ground clearance for a large variety of terrains.Great value. Was alot cheaper than other scooters that had a much lower rider limit and less features.LED lamp, brake lights, and turning signals.Cons (These were not serious enough to deduct a star):Ride height. It rides pretty high if you are in the 6 foot range. So be careful of signs and tree branches as most e-scooter riding is limited to sidewalks and bike paths where avaliable in my case. This is to be expected though for a bigger scooter with bigger tires. Also, be mindful when stepping off, 8 inches to the ground can turn an ankle if you aren't paying attention. Most steps aren't 8 inches. It's heavy. Though I don't have much of an issue lugging it around, I wouldn't recommend doing that if you are smaller or have health conditions. The ride is a bit harsh on rough paths and sidewalks. Again, not terribly surprising considering it will take a while for the heavy duty suspension to mellow out, plus you have big tires are solid rubber vs inflated with air. Even so, it's a heavy duty scooter, so there is going to be some compromise on terrain that isn't perfectly smooth. I knew that going into to the purchase. The cruise control. Yes, I listed this as a pro, but it's also a con. It's a pro on even smooth terrain. However, it can kick in on less than ideal terrain, which I don't want, lol.Final considerations:Wet grass. Yeah, don't do it. Just don't.Be careful on poorly maintained sidewalks and paths. The tires wont act like inflated tires if you have a section of sidewalk sticking up as you approach and the suspension is a bit too tight to compensate. So you'll get a brutal jarring bump or possibly crash if you hit that section of sidewalk at speed. Either slow way down or briefly hop onto the street in a safe manner. Even before that, get an idea of the path you'll take it on. The big solid rubber tires are great in that you'll never get a flat tire, but at the same time, you aren't going to fare well if you aren't paying attention on a rough path going at a high rate of speed.I haven't taken this on off road bike paths yet due to recent rain, but it seems more than capable of the job.Overall, this is an awesome scooter. I can skip the awful local traffic and not waste gas going just a few miles away from home. It's sturdy, fun, and I'm glad it's a good option for those who shop in the big and tall section.

I bought 2 scooters for myself because I saw a review on YouTube. After receiving the 2 scooters and driving around with my GF in Florida a few days, I bought a 3rd for my friends to use. I have owned 2 basic Gotrax scooters and 1 Chinese brand scooter that was a little more industrial in the past, and nothing compares to these based on the price point. These scooters go a true 28 MPH and I am 6'2" and 215. The adjustable bar allows me to use them as well as my 5' 6" GF. At 28 MPH you can ride on main roads without disturbing traffic on 30-35 or under. There are 3 gears that control your speed between roughly 14MPH, 21 MPH, and 28MPH so anyone uncomfortable about going 21mph or 28mph does not have to worry because you can select a gear to avoid that. The light is really cool for night driving which could make a big difference in certain environments.Other than the above. The 3 main things I was looking for were the following:1) Tires - I wanted tires that do not need to blow up cause popping a tire on a Gotrax was super annoying, pretty common, and added no additional benefit that I noticed. These tires do not have that feature which was huge for me.2) Durability - These scooters are very durable and night and day compared to the other scooters.3) BATTERY LIFE - I cannot stress this enough. The battery life is the most important element. I can go LITERALLY 4-5 times the distance compared to the $450 Gotrax. This scooter is awesome. I want 1200 miles on a scooter before it breaks down, and these things look like they will average much more than that. Highly Recommend

This scooter rocks! I used it to get to work in Halifax in the bitter cold in November and it did not lose any speed or range. The speed is mostly accurate at 45km/h top and the range is the same (I am 195lbs). I also got connected to the manufacturer and they sent me the parts I needed as the lock pin broke on the securing device which I didn’t totally need in the end as the scooter has a double locking mechanism for keeping the mast upright. The auto cruise function is nice so I don’t need to keep pressing my thumb constantly on the throttle. I have had a lot of fun on commutes with this and am excited for even more. One thing to mention is the dual suspension I expected to be a little softer than it is but it is still a lot smoother a ride than other scooters I have ridden. Would totally recommend!!

this is my first impression since i just received it yesterday..first ride, the scooter is rough, especially since it is deemed an off road scooter. no give in the shocks at all, you feel every pebble...however, power is nice, lights are great on it..but not for rural roads for sure!update to my last review: i’ve had the scooter for 2 weeks now! the shocks have somewhat loosen up, feel much better on the road. still feel pebbles etc but to be expected since the tires are full..overall..it’s very nice and really happy with the purchase..After nearly a year..I love the scooter! Excellent battery life! Had a minor issue ( nothing keeping me from riding) and the vendor helped right away! After seeing other people with complex controls I now love this one..so easy to operate!

I had a 500w scooter to which i returned after 2 days of usage and got this one. Honestly I like it. Its my first experience. If it wasn’t for the money i would get one with 1500w or 3000 w 2 rotors. But yea. This one is great so far. It pulls nice, good quality, durable, the suspension is great. At first it was stiff but then it gets better. Speed is correct as mentioned, as for distance i am not really sure, as i have it a week now and the west is slowly touchy 0 degree C. And batteries don’t perform well in cold. However if i drive it on standard and eco (very slow!) rather than turbo, the battery for sure will last longer. It is ok in climbing roads. It can go 30 degree however i am 75 kg and 174 cm. I am not a heavy person. If you are looking for long drives, i am not sure 45km is enough. Personally, except for the range, the scooter’s performance is well. I would have preferred if it rolls more than 45km. So for my next scooter i am definitely upgrading.Watch out for the grenade stile lock. Before i bought it i knew from previous experiences (not scooters) that these mechanisms break. Indeed, it broke the first time i used it! Funny. I knew ahead of time. But honestly i was refunded the price of the piece and little more, instantly, good service. I placed another order and waiting for it to come. I should’ve ordered 2. As i am sure it will break again (check videos to see what im talking about- it’s the handle bar lock). Oh and it’s heavy. If you plan to carry it for example taking the stairs, it is not an easy thing to do.
