Look good. Not as sturdy, or as big as I would like, but they are better than nothing. visually they work

Great value for the money. I used these for a replacement mirror on my 1978 Ford F100. Fit perfectly. The description is a bit misleading to thinking you’re only going to get the mirror head and not the mirror itself but it includes the mirror and head assembly. Seem well built and much better than the old foggy mirrors I had.

I needed an adjustable mirror in place of the non-adjustable original on my 1986 F250. This one has a ball and socket adjustment to move the mirror up and down, and I need this sometimes. It works perfectly and I am very happy with it. One caveat, when you slam the door, that mirror will move a bit, so be gentle. It does NOT move from normal driving, even at 75-80 mph. But slamming the door is another thing. It is teaching me to be gentle. Very, very easy to install. I did use a washer that did not come with the unit.

I installed these mirrors (d/p sides) on a 1990 F150. The factory mirrors were loose and no longer usable. These mirrors were easy to install and they look nice. That is all that is good about them. Once they are adjusted and you drive anywhere at any speed, they jiggle and wiggle and vibrate like crazy. After highway driving at 50-70MPH both sides are totally out of adjustment. I tried every sort of adjustment with them and tightened and re-tightened the hardware all to no avail. Other reviewers have had the same experience. Do not buy these mirrors. They are worthless for what they are intended to do. They are junk.

Sure, it's plastic. But it gets the job done at a great value. If your attitude is "I want to get my side-view mirror back in place at the least possible expense" then this is for you. If your attitude is "I want to restore my vintage truck to better-than-new condition" then definitely not - unless, perchance, you just want to dismantle it for parts (like the mirror) to renovate the original.

I bought this to replace my mirror after the mount stud broke off at the ball; I'm happy with it, but there are pros and cons...Good: The mounting stud is thicker than the original, so hopefully will be more durable. Size and color match well, and the mirror seems good quality.Bad: Out of the box the ball was froze solid. Not visibly rusted, just stuck. I needed a mirror and didn't want to wait a few more days for returns, so I used some PB-Blaster and carefuly worked it loose then applied some lithium grease. Took about 15 minutes, and had to be careful not to snap it (it was REALLY stuck somehow). Also had to tighen up the three screws on the bottom after a couple weeks on the truck, as they got really loose - I only noticed because the mirror kept dropping as I was driving down the interstate.In-between: It's black plastic, not metal, but that's what you get for this price. The surround is a little flimsy; you can see it flex when you grab it to adjust, but if you're not adjusting your mirrors all the time its not noticable.
