I used these mirrors on our Class C Motorhome. I installed them about one year ago and they've held up great, just had to make some brackets to hold them onto the factory mirror arms. Now i can see when I'm about to run something over when making turns.

I missed the part that mentioned it was CONVEXED…makes it a little awkward backing up my truck. Gave it 5 stars though because it does have a nice finish and it arrived on time.

I bought this to use in my garage for when I pull in and out. I have to pull in at a slight angle and then straighten out. I have to avoid 1. the garage wall and 2. a wall of landscaping blocks I have been putting off messing with. I used a zip tie to secure it to a pvc pipe where I can see down the wall to ensure my front bumper does not come in contact. I could have properly secure it to the garage wall, however I would of had to fabricate a new mounting bracket in order to make that happen. So zip tie does the trick for something that does not get messed with. It gets the job done, however no fault to the manufacture, I should have gotten a larger one. That is on me. For what I am using the convex mirror as it serves its purpose well.

I now can sit in my chair in the den and see who is at the front of the house, FedEx, UPS, kinfolk etc. The angle bracket that came with it allows me to place it on a corner 4 feet high and still adjust it. Oh, and loosen the screws on the back to wiggle it and then tighten back. My chair to mirror is 20 feet, My mirror to area to watch bounces off mirror and goes 30 feet more. This is NOT a cheap made mirror. It's as good a mirror can be. the picture here is the BACKside of the thing with the small bracket (removeable) the front side is Convex (poofed outwards) to see a lot more area. The ridges you see I guess are for strength, but it's solid metal no plastic at all.

I installed two of these mirrors on my hot rod and they work great. They do not need re-adjusting even when vibrating on bumpy roads at 60 MPH. They are big enough to provide a clear view behind with just the "right amount" of a convex image to not distort the view too much but give you a wider angle of coverage. I would recommend to a friend.
