I liked the alternative to deep frying. The only down fall it’s far from the authentic churro. Plus it should be noted it needs to be cooked a long time to ensure the inside is cooked. In order to cook the inside the outside is really cooked border overdone.

This churro maker is great (a lot safer & less calories than frying in oil). I wanted to point out the cooking surface size. It's 4 inches wide & 7 1/2 inches long. (I'm happy with that because it takes less than 10 minutes per batch of 4.I know I wanted to know the cooking surface size before buying it and couldn't find it anywhere. So here it is.

This was a nice edition to our home kitchen. It makes churros exactly as we imagined. The taste of it may be on our part, but overall it does the job. It heats well, is easy to clean & easier to use. I absolutely recommend this little machine for any and all churro lovers. It also works for a great Xmas gift!

I bought this to make churros at home. The bag is clumsy and drippy and yucky to use. The directions say 3 - 5 minutes cooking time. What a laugh! It takes a minimum of 20 minutes to have anything but a dough wad. It does not cook evenly and when the top is edible the bottom is still dough. I have to turn them over to bake the bottoms and then they don’t fit right in the channels. Bottom line: you have to REALLY want a churro to use this thing!

I have made Churros in the oven yuck! Fried is great But not a healthy choice. So I saw this after one of my son's asked me to make some. I ordered it and as usual it arrived promptly with Amazon Prime! Set up was easy. Washed the inside as instructed with a warm cloth as it was the first time using this machine. I also sprayed and coated a light oil on the inside as instructed. The ebook of recipes that was include was clear and concise. I tried the Mexican recipe but doubled it as I did not know how many it would make. The instructions included said 4-5 minutes so I went 4.5 minutes! Unbelievable how good these are . Three kids, myself and my Dietitian wife... 40 Churros my wife ate one and said "these are good"! I had 4 and the rest split between the kids!!!! I am glad that I doubled the recipe! I highly recommend this Churro maker! Nothing like fresh churros to eat!!!

Who does not love Churros! I wanted to make something different for the Holidays to take to other people's parties so I decided Churros. I tried them out a couple days before to make sure I knew what I was doing and because I wanted them to look good, but this machine makes it all so easy plus with the recipes and they look like they are made by someone who has been doing it for years. I called my neighbor over for coffee and a taste test and I knew by the look on her face she thought they were fantastic.

This is SUPER easy to use. I honestly thought that it would be more complicated. The churro stand at the fair looks intense. But it's basically like a small waffle maker. You can also get pretty creative with the recipes. I tried the one from the video, and it worked well! Fluffy, not too sticky, and a decent amount of crunchiness on the outside. But you can also look up other recipes online too! I'm going to try a low sugar recipe next to make "healthy" churros. Got to get that beach body for summer 2019! LOL
