Gnome looks great, but the battery pack that lights the star is incredibly cheap and came broken. Worth taking your money elsewhere.

I bought this for our 9 foot tree. The gnome came in 3 pieces without instructions. The star has to be glued to the gnome with provided sticky tabs. The star is battery lit with a pack that dangles on the gnome or you can try to hide it under the gnome. The lights are very bright LED lights. I would need a ladder every time I would want to turn it on and off so I ended up putting the gnome on our 2 foot tree in the entry way. Disappointed with this purchase.

This gnome guy looks great on our tree. The only issue I had was that there were zero instructions regarding how to affix the lighted star. No worry though, we decided to use him without the lighted star. We'll use that star someplace else. He looks great even without a lighted star.

The gnome itself is awfully cute but the star he holds had a broken wire. Fixed the wire but now star won't shut off. I'll have to make a candycane with lights that work.

The lighted star with the gnome is a bright white, not warm at all. When I put it on our tree, the white light seemed garish next to the warmer tree lights, so I didn't put the little gnome on the tree top. Also, the battery pack is heavy (weighs more than the gnome) and makes it difficult to get the gnome to remain upright (that's why I took off a star). He's cute, though, sitting on the presents under the tree. He could also sit on the mantel or any surface in any room you'd like to decorate. .. even in your car since the light is battery-powered. If sitting, his battery pack can tuck into the cavity meant for the tree top.For the price, he's an inexpensive decor item for those who love gnomes!

This is a cute gnome tree topper but am a bit disappointed in the parts that came with it. The star battery pack was broken so will have to fix that to keep closed and for some reason they sent glue dots to have the gnome hold the star. Will have to fix that as well as those glue dots won't hold up for long. 3 stars because the gnome is cute. But also 3 stars because the parts are not very well made. But all in all it is okay.
