This is a NICE tree stand. Works very well holding the tree in place and the company was nice to deal with when our first one leaked. They replaced it promptly!

Love this tree stand! It’s pretty heavy duty and holds tree well and straight, and it was so easy to tighten the tree into the stand - hold upright, pump a few times until resistance, done. Carried tree with its stand to where it turns into a Christmas tree, used a bottle to fill with water, and ready to decorate. No third or forth hands needed. 👐

This was great until it failed after a week. The tree was up for about a week and then while I was (thankfully) sitting in the same room the tree fell over and water went everywhere, including on the surge protector the lights were plugged in to. I turned off the power at the breaker so that I wouldn’t be shocked while cleaning it up. Lots of ornaments and lights were damaged.After investigating, it seems the locking mechanism gave out and the grips loosened, which meant the tree could fall out. We returned it.In theory this is a great idea, but that lock failing is probably due to poor quality products. I really loved this until it failed. I knew this was a risk based on reviews from this and similar products, but took my chance because of the ease of use. It was easy enough to set the tree up. When working correctly, the pieces that press into the truck to secure it hold very well. I liked that I didn’t have to use my hands to screw support bolts into the trunk, which I can’t do because of a hand injury.

The description might say for up to 6-ft trees but don't believe it. The base is too small for a hefty 6-ft or maybe any hefty real tree. It fell over several times and is mostly made out of plastic, including the grippers. Not made very well. Got our old one out of the attic with a larger base but requires crawling underneath to twist the six bolts. Still works good and the tree is straight and secure.

Love how I can foot pedal this to place and that I don’t overfill the water! I have a 6’ tree in it currently and no issues or worrying about tipping. So far the dogs have not attempted to drink the water out of it, there’s not much room for them to drink out of so I think we are set! Overall it’s a great product!

For many years I had a tree stand that involved having to sit down on the floor and twist the screws in until the screws touched the tree while someone has to hold the tree up to make it steady and straight. For a few years since my parents & I moved into a house in a small community, we had a local farm that would offer to deliver our tree to us. But last year was more frustrating because the worker did come into my house to help me since my boyfriend wasn't available at the time. But it took FOREVER. I felt bad for the worker he came and delivered it after they closed for the night and I thought family time and here he is taking his time and patience on helping me. I have a lot of health problems that developed early so bending down is challenging, I just got so sick of doing it anymore. I thought wow this is a lot of money....is it worth it? I bought it and well..my answer to everyone who is reading this, it's WORTH every penny. My boyfriend picked up the tree at the tree lot, brought it back to my home for me while I got stuck at a mandatory work meeting and couldn't help him this time. And he had zero problems on the tree stand. The tree didn't take long to set up and he didn't have to sit down on the floor and twist the screws back in. My favorite part is the water valve. How many times in the AM I have to bend down to check for water? I always overfill the tree stand because I can't see the water until I start seeing a glare over the water and usually it's way too much water. This tree stand has the ability to let you know when it's maxed or running low. My mom had to take care of my tree for a week because I was up north for training. And she wasn't sure how the water valve worked. So she asked me when I got home if it was enough water, I saw the black top of the water valve kinda like reminds me of a big button and well I didn't see any white. And I put water in it and noticed that the water level bobber goes up when it's being filled. So if it is low on water, you will see more of the black top looking button going down. It's neat and I love it. I would reccomend this to anyone who is sick and tired of the old fashion tree stands that require sitting down on the floor twisting for minutes on end and 2 person job instead of one person and someone that would rather watch the water levels more closely. It works and I'm so thankful that it does work. I never have to worry about the old tree stand ever again. The only problem I had is the tree stand is so high that the tree skirt doesn't fit all the way around but that's easier to hide with gifts under the tree, I would say that is just the one problem I had.

This tree stand is amazing and so much easier than the screw in stands. Just be careful to not drop it, because it can crack the seal on the bottom and cause water to leak all over the floor. Tree genie by Krinner is expensive, but offers a 3 year warrenty.
