The description was correct, it will fit a skinny pole and the three "screws" hold it in place, but it's still a little wobbly even after I put it on a flat piece of plywood. I used wood shims beside the pole to help stabilize the tree.

I didn't use it because my tree is a 6 feet tall and I don't think this base is strong enough, it looks and feels flimsy

Trying to use this tree stand for a 5.5-6 foot tree has been difficult. It may be partially that the pole for the tree is thin. But there is no stopper on the base to keep the pole from sliding through to the floor. I had to duct tape a piece of cardboard to the bottom. Then I also have had to put a ton of tape around my tree pole to try to keep it stable and it is still leaning. It seems straight with the base layer but then leans as I add more levels. It took almost 2 hours trying to make the stand work and it’s still leaning. Maybe it would be better for a smaller tree

I bought this Christmas Tree Stand for my coat stand, and it works will. It's sturdy and stable most of the time. The black color looks nice and blends well with the coat stand I have. Overall, satisfied with this purchase.

It's a tree stand, it's not the greatest for the price. But it'll do for now, the bolts are shorter then they talked about.....will purchase a different one later. But again it's ok for now 😉
