I love this little lantern. It stays on for six hours, then turns itself off. Then, after 18 hours, it will automatically turn back on again. I kind of wish it would stay on for a 7 or 8 hour duration. I find myself getting up and clicking it on and off for another six hours. It makes my room sparkly and it really brings me a lot of joy. I leave this out well after Christmas time. For some reason I am obsessed with Santa’s little red truck. I like this lantern so much I bought a second one, just in case anything happens to this one. I have a USB extension cord that is plugged into my bed and I run it around onto my table. The inside light is really bright and I have to say it almost has too much glitter inside. That would be my only complaint is to take out a little bit of the glitter, so you can see the inside sculpture clearer. It really swirls around! It does run off of three AAA batteries, but they will burn down after only a few cycles. They probably should have built this to take three AA batteries instead. But since I have the USB extension cord, this doesn’t bother me. This would make an incredible gift for anyone, and there are so many inside pictures to choose from. 🎄🎄 🎅🏼 🚗

I bought the Christmas Snow Globe Lantern "Christmas Tree" design lantern for my elderly mother in law. I know she is going to adore this unusual and beautifully crafted gift. I installed 3 AA batteries in the base, and it was ready to use. I kept saying, "Wow! Wow!" for how stunning this Christmas display is. It comes with a USB cable for use without a battery, but battery-operated works fantastic and that makes it portable. You can set the switch on the bottom to 3 settings: lights with 8 songs, lights only, and off. I am absolutely DELIGHTED with wonderful find on Amazon. They carry different designs, too. I bought the one with the boy looking up at the tree, with presents in front of the tree. It appears to be snowing which gives a magically look. Wonderful!!

It looks really pretty as the snow glows, BUT it is on a timer. I would have given it a 5 star except for the timer. I did not want a timer. I wanted it to run all the time.
