I prefer this one over the globe shape and was able to reduce the volume of the music by sticking insulation tape over the “speaker” on the bottom.

I ordered this for my 7 year old grandson for Christmas who recently discovered the beauty of snow globes. I thought he would enjoy it in his room when he’s trying to fall asleep, with the light and music playing . Yes, it is absolutely beautiful with the glittery snow but the music is pretty loud and there’s no volume control. You can turn the music off and keep the light on with the sparkling snow always moving, I just wish the music was softer.

This beautiful cardinal snow globe lantern is more beautiful than the Amazon advertisement pictures. My husband and I received one as a gift. We like it so much that we bought two to give as gifts to adult family members. It can be displayed throughout the winter months.

All I can say it's beautiful. I love it. I also likes that is plays Christmas songs. Great quality and I love the weight of this lantern. One thing that saddens me is that it doesn't play Silent Night my favorite Christmas song.

Our elf on the shelf brings my children snow globes from the North Pole every year when she arrives. I’m always looking for something unique and special and this was perfect. I think it’s my favorite one yet. My children were also obsessed. Just as pictured and great quality. Definitely recommend.
