Easy to use, worked as they should does require a pair of pliers to squeeze the cover on the last 1/4 of an inch.

well constructed and priced well if you have a flat two wire light string this will allow you to cut and rewire the string to meet your size needs with no electrical knowledge

A few years ago we bought a nightlight display at a flea market. We needed a second one. These sockets worked great, they look like the ones that came on the original display we bought. The 2 parts slide together smoothly piercing the electrical cord as they do. The only drawback is my extension cord was wider than the opening for the cord to lay in. We have had the cord for many years. I don't know if newer cords are slimmer. I just sanded the cord until it fit. Just be sure you don't expose the wire itself, or take one of these with you to the store and find a cord that fits..
