Sending back for a replacement as so much is missing- one bag in the box came completely empty- that was probably supposed to be the hardware, but also missing the two wooden boards. Now I have to waste gas driving to and from the UPS store which sure doesn’t make this convenient.

So I wanted to try my hand at making my own journal and got this set. There is almost every tool you could possibly need to make a book! The only things that are potentially missing are a punch guide, to help when punching holes for the stitching and glue. The punch guide is nice to have but definitely not necessary, and the glue is only necessary if you want it and would vary depending on what you are using it for!. To make signatures and then bind those together, which is a really common and basic book binding skill from all of the research I did before hand, this is perfect. You will need to look up directions or watch a couple of videos to learn how to use the tools, but really everything is there. I especially love the carrying case so that once you are done you can store everything and not have a bunch or things, some of them very sharp, laying around!
