Well made and functional. I guess I have a problem with overestimating the size of things because it is much smaller than I thought. HOWEVER- once assembled - it does hold vertical rows of 5 individual chip bags. It rotates in both directions and whereas most of these comes with an open wire top this cones with a very nice blonde wood top which is great to put more products on top of. This is perfect for a little Legue/high school snack bar or a swimming pool concession stand. The clips are sturdy and although it does take a minute to assemble it once done it’s a great clip rack for products. Besides chips it coujd display Freshies, Tea, individually wrapped home made soap. Really great item for the small business person.

This can hold a lot of chip bags ! Or, some granola bars and individual packages of nuts. Great for the Little League Concession Stand. But, I'm using it for upcoming craft shows to hold small packets of earrings and rings ! Really, anything lightweight would do well on this display rack. It does swivel, making it easier to load. I love being able to get pieces of jewelry off the table surface and get seen !

Short version: Buy it! BUT be *extremely careful* assembling (take-your-time or hire an expert) and the hole in the top is for a sign! (Most reviewers seem to be oblivious to this.)REVIEW: I want to address some important concerns otherwise you will not have a good time with this:Yeah, you really do have to assemble this yourself, and that means you can expect half an hour of tedious work with small screws and extremely careful work. You only have to assemble this once so set aside the time to do it right. This is easy to screw up. But, once it is done, wow, this is so much fun. I saw in another review that someone had not done this carefully and they were disappointed. You really have to take your time. It is worth the extra patience.Structure: It is made of wood veneer and real powder coated metal. The clips are standard (which means "good" but also what you would expect). This is exactly what you would expect to see at a local deli or snack shop. You will need to wipe it down as it seems to come with the dust from the manufacturing process. These things are obviously stamped out en masse, to lovingly handcrafted by shoemaker elves in a small village in Renaissance Italy. But any this price, it is still a very good deal.Versatility. Now here is where I differ from other people. You *can* use this for chips and cookie bags, but you can also use it for order tickets, and even cards (which is what I use mine for). This is good for the office, retail, or workshops. The spinning action is acceptable: it works but it is nothing to write home about, but at this price point you have to accept that this will serve your needs but it is not a masterpiece of art or equipment that will last generations. This is great for anyone who sells items at swap meets, conventions, or retail locations, and as noted, in workshops or office needs (like I have). It really is not a bad piece. And for the top, you want one of those straight rods with a circle clip at the top. Shove that in the whole a then clip your sign (or price tag) in that. THAt is what the hole in the top is for. Anyway, thanks for reading. Hope this helps.

I’m so sad the box was missing all the screws and I was able to put the rack together.

I don't really like how the holes are not pre -drilled very well because the self-tapping screws ruin the veneer. Also, it feels like this is sort of and complete because they left a drilled hole in the top for a sign and I would have preferred that they left no drilled hole there because now it looks awkward that there's a drilled hole and I have nothing to put there.Other than that, I went together rather easily and I think that it is pretty sleek and beautiful and about the size that I expected it to be. The clips are a nice high quality and they have a nice tension on them, the steel rods don't feel like they'll bend underneath my grasp and the veneer isn't too much of a color issue because it seems like it would blend in with other displays that I have because the brown is more of a almost white color.

I received this item for free as part of the Amazon Vine program and here are my thoughts. I was very disappointed to find this item looked as if it had been used and returned. Thankfully I am just keeping it in a closet. It has enough room for an entire box of chips I get from Sam's Club which is a plus, it makes storage easier. The installation was straightforward and simple they even give you some extra screws. The screws are pretty tiny that they can be lost easily. When sitting it's wobbly I wouldn't trust it too much as a store display and mine had a hole in the top.

The idea is great but the quality of the materials especially the "wood" leave a lot to be desired. The wood is really just compressed sawdust with some glue mixed in. What you get is a large number of stripped screw holes because the screws provided are way too short to get a nice bite into the wood.Even the screws that were not stripped can be easily pulled out when assembling the rotating part of the base.In the end I was able to salvage it with hot glue but now I have to be extra careful with hanging bags on it.
