I gave it only 2 stars but it is very pretty. It smells of nasty tires. The black rubber backing is the reason. I tried airing it outside for several day, then vinegar, baking soda, Dawn, and just waiting for the smell to go away, but it really smells.

Bought as a Birthday gift for a dear friend. It’s even better than the photo. She loved it. Made me so happy to see. It will be perfect to protect her new Mahjong tiles for play.

This mat is stunning and I wish I could have kept it. I returned because the borders of the mat were uneven. One side had no border. Additionally the case was too short to cover the entire length of the mat. It’s a shame because otherwise it was pretty and a nice material.

Love the mat right out of the package. Beautiful colors and clean graphics, nice thick material, very quiet when shuffling tiles and arranging racks, but…. the included carrying case is 4 inches too short! No matter how you roll the mat, 4 inches sticks out the end. We tried folding the mat in half after rolling it, but then it’s too thick to fit in the case at all. Quite disappointing, as now we need to find a case to carry the mat, which will probably double the price. I’d have given it more stars if the case fit the mat.
