As many other reviews say, this Chillwell doesn’t work as described. What the description doesn’t specify tell you is that the cartridge is supposed to be replaced every two to three months. It costs $25 for a replacement! Oh, and if you try to return the product, make sure you follow the return instructions to the letter. I sent mine back at my own expense and never received a refund, even after going through the dispute process with my bank. To the vendor: you are cheating your customers. Shame on you for running this sham scam!

I already purchased one of the Chill Well air coolers this past summer (at the regular price) so I already knew they work well, especially on a hot summer day when I take a break while I am working in my yard. I do not have to come indoors to cool off. I set it on something to elevate it so that the cool air can blow directly on my face which keeps me from overheating. I also really like that it is rechargeable (usb).

Acually works quite well for a small unit Keeps the room cool for about 4-5 hrs...not bad for a unit for that price..

I love this little room cooler. No plug. Charges quickly. Cools really well. 4 cooling settings, one of which is turbo. The selection of lights colors, if you choose to use, is a nice touch. I have used it with the filter as is, with the filter in the freezer for the 1 hour suggested time, and without the filter but a couple of ice cubes in the water instead. All ways worked great for me. I don't have the space for a traditional AC. This little beauty is on an end table next to my couch and cools me with no problem. I was a little concerned about the fact that is uses water. I did some research on-line ,with regard to dampness and humidity. Because it's evaporative, this does not occur. If there is some condensation, it simply drips into the water container. A great product.

After 1 use, didn't hold a charge, leaked like crazy. Tried to get full refund from Seller but After days of trying to get 100% refund, I settled for 75% refund and got to keep product. But i ended up garbaging product. This product was definitely a "buyer beware" product. Will never buy from this Seller again.

This is a toy . This air cooler does not function as advertised and should be taken off the market. I would not recommend this deluxe portable air cooler for purchase by anyone. Thank you . I have returned it.

This is useful to sit on my desk at work. It doesn't cool a whole room like I was hoping but does provide instant cooling for a while in a close area.

I was so excited to get this, because although we have A/C, we do not feel it upstairs. We often lose about 10° going from our first floor to the second floor and I’ve tried everything to remedy that problem. I had seen these advertisements for Chillwell. I tried to do some basic research on my options and Chillwell seemed to be the best. I ordered it and when it got to our house, I could not wait to set it up. I did what they said, and when I first turned it on, it was very cold. I even got a blanket because it had cooled the room down so much. Within about 30-60 minutes, it shut off. I assumed it wasn’t fully charged when it arrived, so charged it. It constantly does this where it shuts off too soon and needs to be charged. It seems like the directions say the air filter might be clogged, but I don’t know how it can be clogged when it’s brand new. I am frustrated and probably should’ve returned it.

The description says "Rechargeable Battery Lasts Up To 4 Hours: With a full water tank and plug-in power source, ChillWell air space cooler can keep you cool for up to 8 hours. Best of all, if you're using it cordlessly, a full battery charge will give you almost 4 hours of water cooled air anywhere"This is not true. When I use it cordlessly after the green light indicates that it's fully charged, it barely lasts an hour.If I keep it plugged in while it's operating, it does last longer, but it's limited by the amount of water in the reservoir, and it doesn't notify you if it's running out of water, so you have to keep an eye on it. I have to keep an eye out for it. I'd rather turn it on and forget it.Yes, it does put out a cooling mist. It's a swamp cooler. So, be prepared to put towels around it, and be prepared to wipe off nearby objects. I put it under my desk, and my pants were soaked from the knees down.And surprise! There's a sticker on the cartridge saying that it needs to be replaced every 1-3 months. So there's an added unexpected expense for operating it.Plus, the description says, the reservoir holds 550 ml, which is approximately 18 ounces. Not a huge deal, but if you fill it to the MAX Fill line, it's 17 ounces.Also unexpected - it needs ice.I so wish this worked as advertised, it seemed like such a great solution.

Very easy to use. Easy to clean. Does get cold air pumping out into your space in seconds as advertised. Very portable and can go anywhere without taking up too much space. Loved the night light feature but after I had used it for a few months the light stopped working. This did not effect the AC part however. Also it is not overly noticable in your space so it's not going to be an eyesore. Surprisingly quiet overall. That not to say it won't make noise it's just a very soft hum.

I thought I did good research on this product. It seemed perfect for what I needed so I finally decided to pay the price.It is important to know that I was fully prepared to love this Chillwell.It is not difficult to set-up. When it runs it does what is claimed.First, I noticed that it did not hold a charge for long. Certainly not for a couple of hours. I let it charge for hours with no improvement in use time. I used the Chillwell with the charge cord plugged in with no discernible change. I know, it sounds weird but I am not making it up.Second, and this is difficult to believe, it would turn itself on even when I was not around. I would make sure it was off and come back and the thing was running. In our technological world this, at first, seemed weird but possible. Later I realized that the Chillwell was not connected to any electronics. I would not have mentioned this but it happened time after time. I am not crazy though I may be an easy mark given that I believed all the hype about this product.Ultimately I threw the chillwell in the trash. I give it one point because it did arrive with all the info and I could set it up and it did work for a short time. The remainder of the time I had it I experimented with different ways to use it hoping that my experience was user error. Nope, this product sucks. Period! Finish! I was bummed out because I literally threw away the money and I wanted something to help with cooling my place.I used a very cheap and effective method of cooling that, to my amazement, helped. I froze gallon milk containers filled with water and placed them in front of my tabletop fan. Voila! Cooler air! Remember to put something under the milk container. It will sweat as the ice melts.
