Seems like a cheap gadget, I had low expectations - but turns out that it’s perfect for shredding chicken for tacos, enchiladas, soups and everything else!! This makes it so easy - place large chunks of cooked boneless chicken breast or thigh over the plastic spikes, put the lid on and twist back and forth a few times. So much easier than the 2 fork method and so much quicker. Easy to clean too. I got one for every cooking member of my family and they all love it!

Does exactly what it says it will do, shred chicken quickly and easily. I put 2 chicken breasts in to test and it easily shredded them. Great for chicken salads and chicken chili and dips. washed easily in the dishwasher.

Not gonna lie - I didn't even want a chicken shredder because we don't typically shred meat. Got this for the tongs with silicone tips on them (great quality too!) that come with the set. We just happened to have chicken the day this arrived so decided to give the shredder a try. I was SO impressed! The design of this is super simple, with really sturdy spikes and a clevel way of shredding. I didn't think it would work well based on photos in the ad, so it working as well as it did actually shocked me. Easy, quick, it rips the chicken apart in a couple of spins. We have used this now at least 4-5 times and love it! Cleaning it is also a breeze with the brush that comes with it. I am impresses by the quality and simplicity, never would have thought an iteam like this would be useful in my house and pleasantly surprised that it is.

I love it, it honestly is amazing I love the see through lid it makes it easier to see where I've missed and its design is nice and sleek, the tongs are amazing, the suction cups I dont really use because it already has anti slip on the bottom area but they work good.

I am impressed with the ability of this tool to actually shred the cooked meat quickly and thoroughly. I have weakness in my hands and this is a great tool for my kitchen, no pain in usage at all. It was not easy to put the handles on when putting it together, I thought I was going to break it. The overall quality is ok, not overly sturdy. I am hoping it will hold up as I plan to use it often. The tongs are nice to place the cooked meat in the tray. They open and close well and stay locked up. The cleaning brush was very useful in cleaning up, as my chicken was marinated and there was an oil residue left before I used the cleaning brush. It was very clean afterward. It is a good purchase.

Was looking for something that works quickly, easy to clean and can monitor easily the size of my shreds for making cat food for our cats Gizmo and Vader. This is perfect! Just put in place (has suction cups to hold from moving) grab the handles and turn to your desired shred. Comes with a brush to clean and also a tongs to serve up your shreds on your dish you wish to create like a cob salad, or Alfredo or well you get the drift. Great for making meals! :) I just rinse and wash mine in the sink. It says it is dishwasher safe which I believe it is. Its just so easy to get it out of the way and I can use it handily. The solution would be to buy two instead of waiting for my dishwasher to get full I guess. Right? I approve this shredder. Oh. Storage is nicer for room since it isn't electric which would hog space with a motor as far as a blender. Another plus.

It's okay, but there are WAY more parts than seem necessary, took some figuring out. All components are very small - the shredder isn't quite big enough to hold an entire large chicken breast, had to cut it in half. The included tongs are about an inch longer than my hand, too small for any practical use. Might be good for a single person but I will likely be buying a larger one for family meals.
