I grind coffee for moka pot. It's very fast, nice grip, very easy to clean.Ball bearings make turning the handle a real pleasure. I highly recommend this grinder. Some people do'nt recomment it for expresso machine, but I cannot say anything because I only use moka pot.

I was looking for a smaller, decent grinder, to replace my old Porlex I use while traveling in my motorhome. This was ordered from Lardera, as they had a great price on the C2 Max, made by Timemore, with their brand. The grinder has all the improvements of replaced plastics on grind adjustment and the handle lid. The cross hatched checkering gives an excellent grip and the 30 gram capacity is spot on, for light to medium roast beans which makes it nice for a 350 to 500 gram pour over. Tear down for cleaning is simple and easy to do. Grind adjustment is simple, but you do have to count clicks and remember it if you like that setting and then have to reset for cleaning. So far, my only real knock in the grinder is that the threads on the catch basin don’t always align up for easy screw on to grinder after dumping ground coffee. The grinder is reasonably fast and dines make more noise than my other grinder. Also, note that if you do order from Lardera, delivery can take 2 weeks (and I am a Prime customer). If timing is not an issue and you want to save money in a Time more grinder, then this is a good buy. Others have said Lardera puts in free sample(s) of their coffee. In my order, I got a card saying “enjoy the sample”, but no sample(s). Not a big deal, but Lardera should be aware. Overall, I am pleased with the grinder and it us a good addition to my group of grinders.

I have the 30g for home and the 25g for traveling. I love them both. But funny thing, the storage bags are the same size and are just a bit too small for the taller 30g grinder. Really, guys? 😂
