My boyfriend is 265lbs and this had plenty of adjustments to fit. he rids mountain bike and it stayed in placve and kept the video smooth. however the rotating mount spins too easily and would always go askew after a few minutes of riding

Works well enough for a bit, but won't hold up for long. The 3d printed corners of the part that affixes the straps to the body of the mount is pretty sharp, as a result, the included straps (very thin velcro) are easily pierced and torn and degraded by them. You do get what you pay for though, this kit is very cheap. It'd hold up enough for a video or two but don't expect much.

This Chest Mount Strap Harness Chesty Body Mount for Sports Cameras was exactly what the actor ordered. Seems everyone is producing their own productions nowadays, even me. Having a way to attach a 2K/4K camera to your body for making point of view videos is a must, these days. This Chest Mount Harness for my brand name sports camera works perfectly, but then, I already said that in the title of this review. The materials used seem to be sturdy and well-made. I can only hope that it lasts me a few years.

I took my brand new GoPro out to the river to play around in the water and decided to use this chest harness to film my bike trek out there. The harness worked great, it was adjustable to fit my size and the GoPro had a pretty good range of motion. It did, however, prevent my GoPro from maintaining a 90-degree angle to the ground, as it didn't allow it to pan that far up. Half the trip just showed the road right in front of the bike tires, and when I leaned forward into the pedals, the view shifted more to the frame of my bike than anything. I still think this is a great item, and I ended up using it while in the water as well, because I didn't want to use my headstrap and risk losing the camera. This chest strap gives pretty serious boost of confidence to protecting your gear, and my next trip with it will probably be on my motorcycle, which will be leaned a bit farther back, so it shouldn't have the same range of motion issue as on the bicycle.

I tested this mount out over the past few days. It's very comfortable to wear, I forget it's even there. Initially it performed very well, holding the camera sturdy. But after a few days of use, the mechanism that enables you to rotate the camera on the mount started to wobble. I believe it's the plastic teeth wearing down.I was able to work around it by putting in two .5mm tpu gaskets to stabilize it, but this will likely not be an option for most people.Note, this mount does not fit the Akaso EK7000 out of box, but it can be made to fit it with some simple modifications.Pros:+ Comfortable to wear, with plenty of adjustment range.+ Camera fits securely.+ Comes with storage bag.+ Kept camera stable initially.Cons:- Wobbly after a few days of use. Likely from plastic teeth wearing down.

I have to admit that I have a knockoff and not a genuine GoPro camera. That is possibly what stopped me from figuring out how to use this item.Mainly, I couldn't find any way to get the camera to fit to the chest strap. The chest strap, however, is easy to put on and will fit a large number of body sizes. As you can clearly see in the product photos, this is not the highest quality product. However, given the low price, I'm not taking any points off for that. The carrying bag is not of high quality either but it's fine for carrying the parts around. I am taking off 2 points for the lack of instructions which may have helped me figure out how to use this item. It may be perfectly fine for you if you know how to use it.

This camera mounting chest harness worked well for me. I have a GoPro 12 and was looking for something when I kayak. At first, I was concerned that this would not fit over my floating vest but it was able to easily fit over the vest and still be adjustable. It was very comfortable and I was able to get great videos of our trip.
