Cheristin is a topical flea treatment designed specifically for cats and available without a prescription. It provides fast-acting relief from flea infestations, killing fleas in 30 minutes with 98% - 100% of fleas killed in 12 hours and working faster than Frontline Plus and Advantage II.

Unlike other flea treatments for cats, Cheristin's low-volume dose is approved to use on kittens and cats over 1.8 lbs. and greater and 8 weeks of age and older, making it a perfect addition to multi-cat households who don't want to worry about keeping track of multiple products by cat size.

Cheristin is an easy-to-apply topical flea treatment for cats with a non-greasy, quick-drying formula. It is designed with a rounded tip applicator that delivers a gentle dose. Hold applicator tube in an upright position and open applicator tube by twisting the nozzle tip. Part the hair on your cat's neck at the base of the head until the skin is visible. Place the open tip of the tube directly above their skin and squeeze 2-4 times to expel the contents onto the skin. Discard the empty tube and in 30 minutes, fleas will begin dying.

Cheristin is available in single-dose packs or 3 and 6-dose packs. Stock up and save on future orders of Cheristin topical flea prevention with a subscription, and gain peace of mind that you'll always be prepared for your cat's next dose.

I live in the country and fleas can be vicious. I’ve tried every product and cheristan is the only product I have found the kills within 30 min and repels fleas up to 5-6 weeks. I’ve never had a cat have issues with this product and I rescue cats and have used on over 50 cats. I won’t use any other product as they don’t last or repel like Cheristan does.

I've been trying for 4 months to get the fleas under control, to the point where I was not only applying a topical but also giving my sweet Bert pills every other day and combing. We were getting no relief from top brands like Frontline and advantage. It took about 48 hrs to take full effect. No fleas still 2 weeks later. I know there are a lot of folks here who had a bad review because their cat sadly passed, or had a skin reaction and hair loss. These are side effects of any medication and are clearly labeled on this medication with clear instructions on how to avoid serious medical complications. This one is fantastic esp for the price. Definitely give this one a try. Be careful with the application and keep an eye on the kitty till the flea meds are dry .

This works really well its not too expensive, and my vet recommended it. Other medications like this I've used caused my cat to jump and run around, trying to hide, it wasn't pleasant at all for him, this one doesn't cause that reaction from him.

After being disappointed by Advantage and Frontline I thought I would try this after reading so many positive reviews. I flea comb my cat every day and the next day after application he had no fleas. It stayed that way for at least a month. The other brands never came close to that. Best price. Best performance. Thank you Cheristin.

As a feline only rescue owner, we have dealt with fleas becoming immune to the two most popular flea preventatives on the market for cats- Revolution and Advantage II. It's been a pain of a process finding a new product that actually kills fleas, but we finally did! Cheristin actually works! Surprise, Surprise! We have avoided anything with sarloner in it after reading numerous reviews about it killing cats, so we are thrilled and thankful that Cheristin exists. I will say one bad thing about this product is how it "opens". I ruined the first dose I attempted to administer due to thinking the cap came off, when it actually opens via just turning the "cap". It was an honest mistake when all you've ever known were products needing to have the tip cut off or a tip coming off and popping a tiny plug with the back end of said cap.Price-wise, as a nonprofit rescue, it's incredibly hard to afford 60+ doses monthly for all of our fosters plus our few resident/personal cats at the current price. I wish there was a bulk discount option for 501c3 nonprofits. Elanco needs to consider working with rescues on this. One star taken off for the price. Almost $80 for 6 doses is steep!

Well after having a FLEA infestation for the 1st time since the previously prescription topicals came out, like Frontline Plus, which is what we've used for years, and we live here in Texas so the summers are HOT and the winters can be very mild, which is what we've had the previous 2 winters and I'm sure has added to our flea problem. My mother was sick all this year, since after Christmas 2016, and since she lives 2.5 hours away with no other family besides my brother in Alabama, I have been traveling back and forth more times than I can count to help care for her and her 2 dogs. Since summer began, she got sicker and sicker so my attention wasn't on my home, 3 dogs and a cat like usual. The fleas took advantage of my divided attention and settled in my house and on my pets without me even noticing. My mother unfortunately lost her battle with leukemia on June 30th and while my husband and I were out of town making funeral arrangements and attending the funeral and all the other events, my pet sitter called to say she found "a flea" on one of my 3 dogs. One flea?? No big deal, right? So I told her where the FRONTLINE PLUS was, for all 4 of the animals, and had her put it on them. When I got home to take a break from cleaning out her house and all the events, I realized we were in trouble...we had a full-blown FLEA INFESTATION!! I have dealt with this twice over 20 years ago when we lived in an apartment and had small children and ONE cat, and I remember it wasn't fun, but I couldn't understand why this happened after all the animals had just had a dose of Frontline Plus. I went to the web and was horrified to read that Frontline was now proving to be ineffective in many areas. Thus began my search for something that would WORK and BE AS SAFE AS POSSIBLE for my 9 year old, 18 lb cat! I read more about fleas and flea medications than I ever wanted to.After about a week of research and trying to fight the fleas in other ways like treating the yard, constant vacuuming, daily flea combing and picking (I have a good idea of what it feels like to be a monkey!), flea baths, organic sprays and topicals, we were still ankle deep in fleas (don't get me wrong, these conservative measures did help as we were knee deep in the fleas previously) and I decided it was time to use the "big guns" - poisons - against the withstanding enemy. I had even put another Frontline on my kitty since he is so big thinking maybe that would work. NOPE, it was as if I had put water on him.THEN, I found CHERISTIN for CATS. I read all I could about it and found that it had a better safety record and reviews than many of the others out there, and since I didn't want to give my baby an oral medication so I ordered it from AMAZON and after a disappointing delay in receiving it, it finally got delivered yesterday evening. I put it on my boy last night and surprisingly he had NO REACTION to it at all! With the Frontline Plus, he used to lick and try to get it off, I guess because it burned? Well today we've been finding a few dead and dying fleas here and there, and he seems much more comfortable - not scratching and biting himself constantly. We used something else on the dogs which seems to be working well, so I am hoping, fingers crossed and literally praying too, that this will FINALLY get the fleas under control and OUT OF MY HOUSE!I will write an update in a few days to a week when I know for certain what the results are. For now, thank you CHERISTIN! Only ONE vial on my BIG KITTY and fleas are taking a nose dive off of him into the carpet, the vacuum, and finally the garbage!
