I have used these shoe expanders on all my shoes now. They are adjustable with extra attachments if needed. An invaluable purchase, saves me going to the mall to get my shoes stretched regularly, having been blessed with wide feet.

They were JUST delivered, and I immediately started using them in my new shoes! I didn't even have to read the instructions because it's very self-explanatory.Back story: I bought some canvas shoes in a bulk consignment sale in my normal size. They were just a little too snug, but these are name brand shoes highly recommended by my teacher colleagues, so I had to think of something!I cannot wait to see the results!

I bought this shoe stretcher with the hope of finally being able to wear my favorite pair of shoes comfortably. Unfortunately, I'm still struggling to figure out how to use it. The instructions are unclear and don't provide enough detail. I've tried several different ways to adjust the stretcher, but I can't seem to get it to fit my shoes properly and get it to function so it stretches the shoe. It's a shame, because the concept of a shoe stretcher is great, but I can't take advantage of it due to the confusing instructions.

Great shoe stretcher for the price. I was hesitant because it's plastic, but it's very solid. To stretch the instep, they provide a little plastic piece that goes on top of the stretcher. This worked perfectly in my hiking sneakers; however, if you need a lot of height, (for example, if your shoes already have a high instep) it might not work as well. I just needed a bit more room in the width and instep; this did the trick. I have hard-to-fit feet and have tried on hundreds of sneakers trying to get the right fit. This shoe stretcher will save me a lot of money!

I recently jumped on the Tieks ballet flat bandwagon, impressed by the many positive reviews stating that these shoes are the most comfortable flats to ever have been invented. I ordered two pairs (at $175 per pair) and after wearing them for less than 10 minutes my feet and toes were in agony. I sought help from a fan page (yes, there are many fan pages for Tieks) and they suggested that I buy a shoe stretcher. While I was a bit miffed about spending more money in relation to these shoes, I figured: what's another $17.99 on top of the $300 I've already spent? And that's why I bought these shoe stretchers. What's Included - two shoe stretchers, one boot hanging rack, two height stretching pieces and a bunch of smaller stretching pieces. The height stretching pieces go inside of the shoe before you insert the stretcher. The other smaller pieces attach to the holes on the sides of the stretchers, if you need them. I usually need a bit of extra room in the area where there would be a bunion (I don't have a bunion, though). Also included is a carrying bag and some 'instructions' written in broken/very poor English and aren't too helpful; but if you examine the parts that are included with these then you'll figure out where everything goes. They really work!I put these stretchers into my Tieks, cranked the crank clockwise until it was super tight, and then waited 8 hours - they felt looser! I think it will be a few days of 8 hours on, testing them, 8 hours on, testing them but I'm definitely heading in the right direction.

I bought this after buying a pair of boots online that ended up being about a half size too small. A quick search recommended boot spray, so I ordered that too. This gizmo totally worked! After putting them in, and spraying the boot, within a day the boots were a tiny bit looser. So, I tightened the stretcher a bit more, sprayed on some more boot spray, and repeated for a couple more days until the boots were stretched out enough and I could wear them. Fast forward a couple of months, and I remembered I had bought a pair of tennis shoes that were too narrow. So, I figured the method I had used with the boots would work with the tennis shoes. Sure enough, after a day the tennis shoes were a bit stretched, so I started to tighten the shoe stretcher again. This time, although I didn't crank down with a lot of force, and the stretcher was moving, I guess the stretcher couldn't handle the torque, and the plastic snapped. Same thing happened with the mate, at the same spot. Luckily, they had already done a good enough job, and I could easily wear the tennis shoes. So, it seems like you get what you pay for... Something that will work great once or twice, or if you are very gentle with them, but will likely break after that.

There is a brief of instruction attached but it is easy to guess of how to use it. The plastic stretcher is light. I stretched a pair canvas shoes and it works fine. As I have a thick and wide foot, I still need to figure it out of how to expand the height. To widen the shoes, it is easy and it works well. Overall, it is a practical and functional product.

I have all kinds of great quality shoes that are technically the right size for me. However, I still found myself hardly ever wearing them because they would press on my feet in weird places leaving blisters or red marks by the end of the day. I have bunions so I figured this was just the way shoe-wearing had to be for me and my slightly wonky feet.I have no idea why it never occurred to me to buy a shoe stretcher sooner! When I noticed this one had add-on pieces for bunions it was a light bulb moment, haha. I ordered it and am well into the process of modifying ALL of my shoes to better fit my foot shape. Suddenly, I can wear all my great Fluevogs and Clarks and Miz Mooz and Naturalizers - shoes that should have been awesome but never quite fit my foot shape comfortably so have been sitting in my closet making me feel guilty. So if you have a similar problem with shoes that technically fit but still irritate your feet in some way (I can't be the only one), I would highly recommend buying this product. This stretcher has been very sturdy and I've had no problems whatsoever with it as I crank up the pressure on my shoes. There are lots of little knobs and bits that you can put wherever you need on the shoe stretcher to customize to your foot shape (and it all comes in a nylon bag so they're not floating around your house). Because, if you're like me and you have specific areas of your shoes that create friction, you need more than just something that generally stretches the whole shoe.Definitely make sure you leave the stretcher in your shoes for a few days in order to see results. Also, the people who say this doesn't work with boots - that statement needs qualification. It will not work with tall boots that don't untie or unzip, or with slip-on boots in general. However, I've already stretched out several pairs of my boots: two with a zipper and one with laces. You just have to undo the boot and fold down the ankle/leg part to access the bottom part of the boot that you want to modify. I've fixed two pairs of Fluevog boots this way, so it definitely can be done.
