These are extremely freaking cool! The possibilities are endless. You can store designs in your folder on the app, and five designs in the glasses themselves. This is a cool feature that allows you to enjoy whatever shenanigans you’re up to without being on your phone the whole time. I have zero complaints. I did have issues connecting them to Bluetooth but I kept fiddling with it and got it to work. Also, the plastic is a little flimsy, but so are most glasses, just use care and you should be fine. I bought these to cosplay as Wrench from WD2 and they are everything I dreamed they would be.

My teen that does a lot of cosplay used her own money to purchase these and she SQUEALED when she saw them. I'll quote her directly, "this is the greatest thing I've ever got from Amazon!" The quality is worth the money, these are super cool.

Chemion has done it again. As a longtime fan of their original LED glasses, I knew it was only a matter of time before they would come out with an upgrade that incorporates colored LEDs as well as rechargeable USB power rather than requiring alkaline batteries.. These glasses have never failed to grab attention and be the talk off any venue where they're worn and are doubly more so now with this more compact, comfortable and colored variant.HOWEVER:As a longtime fan, this update unfortunately comes with some very notable downsides which bar it from getting full marks from me. And practically all of them come from the new Chemion app rather than from the glasses themselves. The older 2016 model, while cumbersome, was loaded with impressive features that are sadly missing here in 2024. You can't draw on the glasses in real time from the editor. You can't set DJ style hot-button graphics that you can press in the app to have them immediately appear on the glasses. You can't preview any community-created graphics uploaded to the app just to see how they look on the glasses as you browse through them. You have to save and send them to one of the only 5 available save slots on the glasses. And this needs to be done with user-generated text graphics too. Before, this was not a requirement.The only feature that is an improvement over the old version is the real-time sound feedback display and that's only because it can do them in color now (one color at a time) instead of just white.But, kudos on the integrated social media sharing on TikTok and YouTube......except wait, it doesn't really allow you to do that. It just shows you some random flattering stuff that THEY curated onto the app themselves. Kind of odd that it's labeled "Share YOUR Chemion", though, isn't it?Also, it might just be me, but I think the design and placement of the venetian slats on the older glasses did more to keep the back of the display lights from shining back into your eyes while you're wearing them. I had a markedly more difficult time navigating through crowded venues with these on than I did with the 2016 pair.So, yeah.....the fact that they're wanting $80 for these with so much missing from them that was present in the older cheaper monochrome models is apalling to me. For that price I should be getting everything the old ones could do......but with color.Instead, while this is still an improvement over the cheaper one-color knockoffs out there, it's only to a slight and frankly disappointing degree.Edit: Had to come back and edit this review while knocking off one star for another, frankly, *unforgiveable* flaw: The text marquis is incapable of properly looping a text scroll with anything longer than SEVEN CHARACTERS in it.Anything longer, and the marquis just starts over from the beginning again before the rest of the text can scroll over the glasses.Seriously? This is deplorable. Even the $30 knock-offs can do this.

These glasses are certainly worth the price, though one thing that the instructions fail to mention is that you need to install the Chemion Color app, and not the regular Chemion app, My sister and I spent a good amount of time on the wrong app trying to figure out why it wouldn't connect to the glasses, but appart from that, Yes they are 100% worth the price

Ever feel like normal glasses are not enough for you? Do you like to impress your friends? These led glasses are the best choice for you! They have a long battery life, I can connect to the app quickly, the app is really easy to navigate through. These things are just really cool. The only problem I have with these is that after a few months it fell apart. The leds came out, the plastic came off, but the only good thing about that is it still works but it's ugly looking. But hey, you might be thinking that it's not worth paying seventy dollars for this. It's made out of plastic, eight hour battery life might not be long enough, or the options for customizing the leds might be low, or maybe even it's because the leds only produce the color white and no other color. I understand that but the cost is mostly because of the tech inside of it. Bluetooth 4.0, over 200 leds, and compressing it down to not be too bulky. If I had another seventy dollars to spend I'd probably buy a new pair because I think it's my fault it broke and not the quality of the glasses themselves. These things are good and you probably couldn't get something as good as these at the cost of ten dollars so seventy is a pretty good price for the quality!

Man, oh man. Are these glasses amazing! Easy to set up. Literally all you do is open the package, insert the batteries, download the Chemion app, power it on (which also puts the glasses in discovery mode for the app), and you're all set. The app is sooooo easy to use. All the different designs are instantly transferred via the app to the glasses. It literally takes the tap of the finger and the design is on the glasses! The app as easy as it is to use it's also a little vague to when it actually comes to designing your OWN designs. Luckily it's just a little trial and error to figuring out how to make your own designs. You're gonna have to know a little about how animating works in order to make your own cool designs though. Luckily, if you're bad at drawing in general. The app has its' own dedicated community where you can download other people's creations and use them on your glasses right away. To my knowledge, these glasses are their first of its' kind with how sophisticated it is. The animations on the designs are all highly detailed animations depending on the person's ability to be able to draw and animate. The one and only cons I could find with the glasses is that the frame is huge, but this is a good thing because it gives creators of designs a bigger canvas to work with and the one other con I could find is that it lacks cushioning on the nose piece. Not sure if it will be an issue in the long run though.
