My 3 year old granddaughter likes the letters. She already knows her abc's and their sounds. We do sight words, so this was for her to use to pull the letters from what the sight card shows. She really likes it. You have to get the board separately. It is a bit pricey, so look for the combined ones verses buying separately to save money. Yes, I do recommend.

Purchased these to help introduce letters to my little one. She is able to hold them easily and we can do different activities with them to encourage learning.
