Sturdy, easy to use, works very well.

I've worked in many kitchens and do a lot of cooking at home, and this is by far the best juicer of this style I have ever used. I mean, I've actually recommended this thing to so many friends, especially those that work in bars and/or kitchens. Other models have had paint that eventually chips, or worse, the metal handle snaps under too much torque, which is terrifying if you've ever gotten your hand pinched in the process. This model is very rugged and you can even double up your squeezed citrus halves and squeeze them again for a little extra juice. Easy to clean, also.

I've had this for several years, it works great and as intended. It's a better design than any other I've seen because of the "dual gear" feature, puts more pressure on fruit to get more juice out (get more juice per each fruit). Its easy to clean and lemon sized version works equally well for limes. My only concern is plastic handle and gear may fail over time, I can feel it bend under pressure. All Stainless steel version would be perfect.

I bought this juicer to replace one I bought previously on Amazon. It got the job done, but was less well-made than this superior Chef’n one. I should have known as all of the Chef’n products we own are well-made and this one appears to be no different. It’s solid, sturdy and built to last as evidenced by the way the gear wheel squeezes so fluidly. It’s clearly engineered well. The use of the metal plate also seems to extract every last bit of juice from lemons and limes which bodes well for margaritas. Chef’n products may cost a bit more sometimes (look for sales/deals), but they last a long time and it looks like this juicer will too.

Man, this thing is awesome. I got what I believe is the largest size, because I love a fresh grapefruit juice. This item is bigger and heavier than I expected- it seems durable. That said, I still found the best thing to do is quarter grapefruit for juicing. It also works great on little guys like limes, tho squishing the skin may add an extra bitterness.

This is my third citrus squeezer I’ve owned. It is hands down the best, which is saying something. I mean, a citrus squeezer isn’t a complex machine. Yet they’ve managed to improve a product in a meaningful way. You get extra leverage and you get more juice. It’s well made and uses substantial materials. And the price isn’t out of line with other similar products. If you’re looking for your first squeezer or just want an upgrade, I would highly recommend this product.

Oranges are often too big.

I am a gourmet chef and have been cooking for 30 years in fine restaurants around the country. I have a plethora of experience with a multitude of brands of lime/lemon squeezers and this product is by far the sturdiest and most versatile and easy to use. Every drop of juice is forced out from the lemons, limes, and small oranges. It can be stored in a utensil drawer and can be washed in the dishwasher. Ours has gone through the dishwasher high temp wash and heat dry cycle with no damage, melting or morphing.CleaningAs mentioned above I have cleaned this juicer in a high temperature dishwasher and it has held its integrity. Most often I hand wash it because the product is easy to thoroughly clean. The gear opens to an angle that allows easy sponge access to all of the juicer's parts. Rinsing the juice, pulp and soap away is also made easy because of the open angle allowed by the gear. There are no pieces of this product that you can not fully see accept for where two stabilizing screws fix the press to the handles. I like that I can see all of the parts in case pulp is caught somewhere and needs to be rinsed away. Overall its design reduces the chance of bacterial breeding grounds.StorageThe juicer fits easily in our 3” high drawer. The bottom of the juice filter has two nodules which help prop the juicer upright and keep it from sliding all over or jamming the drawer.
