This is a very well-fitting chef’s hat. I’ve just been using a baseball cap for the longest time, and I wish I made the switch sooner. I thought I generally have a large head, but I risked it and got the S-M size, and it fits perfectly!

These hats are great. My boyfriend had his previous one for 7 years and wore it to work as a professional chef every day (well, 5 days a week 😉). It didn’t wear out, but got a little funky and old so I got him a new identical one for Christmas. Still the same product and quality. In case it matters for potential buyers, he has medium thick hair which has varied from ponytail long to buzzed and the hat fits all of his haircuts snugly. Will buy another one in 7 years 😁

I recently bought this cap for the hot, long shifts in the kitchen. The cap arrived promptly and to my surprise fit very short, so I ordered another, delivery was quick and thankfully the second cap fit perfect, so my only flaw was that the caps can vary in the "True To Size" category. But besides that its a great cap that keeps you cool, while you work the line!! *Recommended with Reservations*

This is a great skull cap. I've looked all over for a professional looking skull cap to wear while I cook at the restaurant that won't make me sweat like a pig. I've resorted to hairnets in the past because I stand next to a very big and hot convection oven all day and wearing a skullcap along with a chef coat is somewhat torturous. (Especially since I live in an almost tropical climate. Hot and humid. Even in February.) I had many other various brands of touques and caps but they were either poorly made or made with un-breathable fabrics. One day, I discovered the glories of Amazon and searched for a cap that would suit me nicely. I have an average sized head and short hair so anything that's "one size fits most" normally is good for me. So I found the Chef Works DFAO-BLK Total Cool Vent Skull Cap Beanie thinking it would be perfect. It's made of mesh material and has a built in sweatband like thing in it. Great idea, bad execution. The cap has no structural integrity so it just kinda takes the shape of your head; making it look more like a winter hat than a scull cap. Also, the elastic on it was either defective or they think that most people have heads the size of pumpkins because it was wayy too big and made it look like I had a mushroom head. It was a great idea. I liked the company and the material but not the structure or the fit. So this product was the obvious next choice.I bought a black and a white one of these bad boys. They vent extremely well from the top of your head and it has a nice structure that is very professional looking. The adjustable straps don't get caught in my hair because of the way it's designed and it is very comfortable. With the variety of colors, great price, and very high quality of these skull caps, I believe i have finally found the perfect skull cap for professional chefs. I'll more than likely be getting more of these in the near future from the same seller as well. (I just have to say that eChefstore has some super fast delivery. I picked standard shipping and it was shipped and delivered in 2 days. I bought a few other things from that seller and all of the items arrived in the same speed or faster. He/she is "Quick Draw McGraw" with their promptness of shipping) Just take my word for it. Add this cap to your cart or 1-click it if you're a chef looking for a skull cap. You won't regret it. I sure don't!
