I use this for a costume, but feel it could be used for its intended purpose. The Velcro adjustment was really useful to ensure it fit me, and other others, properly.

I bought as a gift for my pizza making friend. It's perfect! Has a velcro size adjuster. The fabric feels expensive. Wear it straight up or flopped over.

I got bored with the same hat and wanted something with a little more personality. This hat Velcros at the back so you can wear it to stay on good, but it's not too tight at all. If you have long hair, it can go up in a ponytail and since it's floppy, it doesn't look weird. The only thing that may concern some (not me) is that when you take off your apron, whatever way you styled the hat is messed up. But, after a few wears and looking in the mirror, I know how to pull it where I know it doesn't look dorky. I love that you can play with any look you want! It's made well and washes good. Will buy again!!

My daughter is 11 and has wanted a chef hat for a very long time. I recently got her an apron that says Junior Chef on it (I was happy to find one that was not a toddler size) and then I got her this hat. She loves it! The velcro area is about 3.25" - 3.5" long, so there is plenty of room to grow (in fact she will never outgrow it), I'm impressed with the quality...I thought maybe the fabric they make this with would be thin, but it's not at all. There is a cute little tag sewed on the outside in the back that has the top of a fork on it. She wears this chef hat every time she cooks and bakes. Move over Cake Boss...you've got competition coming up!
