This apron looks exactly like the ones we use in the kitchen at the Olive Garden. I intend to dye sublimate on it for a gift. Can’t wait to see how it holds the dye!

Love these aprons. The length is perfect for shorter people- I'm 5' 4". The ties double to the front for easy tying. Does a great job of cleaning my fingers while baking and cooking.

My husband cooks for a living. He needed a new apron, so I grabbed this on. These are great aprons! Great quality of material, and wash up very well. He loves his sturdy it is and it totally protects his white chef jackets. I immediately purchased another one. Great price point, too.

Tiene un tamaño bien, no esta chico ni muy grande, la tela no es de algodón como otros que tengo, se siente un tanto plástica, no se describirlo, pero se ve de buena calidad, y para la marca que es el precio se me hizo bien.

This is a good, sturdy apron It doesn't have much in the way of frills. It cleans easily. And made for a perfect gift. You see, I'm not all that crafy, but I've got mad skills with iron-on transfers. I bought several of these to give as gifts. For my husband's grandmother I ironed on pictures of her daughter and grand kids. For other gifts I created my own design, some as large as a full 8 X 11 sheet. They all transferred completely and easily. These are really good.I read reviews for embroidering on this apron as well - I haven't learned that skill yet. While this simple apron is great in the kitchen - you can make it so much more personal and meaningful.

I bought the black apron 2 years ago (for$8.95) and I've been really happy with how well the apron has held up and how well it's made- after many washings, it has not shrunk or faded. Also, the polyester cotton blend resists wrinkles after drying. I decided to buy the white one (for $5.99), thinking it was the same. When I received the white one- I immediately noticed it was not the same quality as the black one I had. I guess that explains the price difference. I looked back in the item description and the aprons do have different item numbers (APKBL vs. APKDC), which may or may not indicate different products, not just in regards to color. Here are the minor differences: the black apron has thicker fabric and all the "strings" are made of cloth. The waist strings on the black apron are 3/4" width and 40" in length, each side. The black apron also has an embroidered fork logo on the end of one of the waist strings. The white apron has much thinner fabric and simple nylon ribbons for the waist strings (3/8" width x 37" length, each side). The white apron has no embroidered fork logo, nor any other labels (indicating that it's made by ChefWorks, the composition of the fabric, or washing instructions- like the black apron has). Anyway, these are the minor differences between the two colors which may explain the price difference. Both the black and the white aprons are simple, basic aprons but the black one is definitely of higher quality. I hope the white apron proves to be as durable as the black one- I will update my review once I find out. Overall, good products at good prices- highly recommended.

I cook a lot and a good apron keeps you clean and happy. I needed to replace a couple of Viking Chef aprons that were so nice they were stolen. This one is a great buy. Heavy cotton material makes it durable. I love the length of the tie strings. I prefer to tie my apron in front so I can hang a small towel on the straps at my waist and wipe my hands there. This apron has the longer straps to do that. The apron length is long enough for good coverage so you stay clean, which is the purpose of the apron of course.

I purchased 3 of these Chef Works aprons mostly because the price made it tempting. Never owned any before this purchase, and will probably not buy any other kind from now on. They are very well made, strong tightly-woven fabric, also have a very slick surface and moisture pretty much rolls off before settling in. Spilled a good streak of dark brown au jus on the first wearing and it did not penetrate the fabric (so had to wipe up the floor...). I thought to give the first apron a couple days of real kitchen workout before washing, but based on others' reports I hope that it will launder clean. The garment tag laundry instruction says use NON-chlorine bleach, so will try the OxyClean if needed. More about this after my "good housekeeping" testing is completed.Meanwhile, don't be hesitant about buying these aprons, for both the price and quality.

I bought this because I have trouble using my fingers and had hoped that the tie strings would be long enough to wrap around and could be then tied in front, but the strings are much too short for the that. The best I can hope for is a piece of Velcro or adding a button and hole at the end of each. The material is not nearly as substantial as i had hoped either. I'll just keep looking.
