I bought this for a play costume and it worked well. I anticipated having to pin it in my hair as my hair is very thick but I ended up not really needing to do so. If you're also wanting this for a costume, you may need to starch it so it will keep its shape. It just depends on what you want. I considered doing that for me but ultimately it was not important.
