It does what ii is supposed to do. I don't use it a lot, so I can't say how heavy duty it is.

I read the reviews on this product prior to purchasing and was perplexed at the diversity in the ratings. So, I decided to purchase the rack anyway and I'm glad I did. The rack fits perfectly in a 1/2 sheet pan (despite what some other reviews say), they are made of heavy-duty steel and very supportive. I've only owned them for a short period of time at this review, but based on the look and feel of the rack I doubt it won't be a durable product that will serve my purpose for years to come.

I bought these for acrylic pouring projects. They are sturdy and fabulous to use. Makes moving those pours easier.

C'est suite à l'émission America Test Kitchen que j'ai acheté cette grille pour ma conjointe. Cette grille va très bien dans la plaque à biscuits avec bords relevés "half sheet" Un très bon achat que je recommande.

This is just what I was looking for! A stainless steel replacement for my existing cooling racks! I've used it twice in the oven already for both chicken and sweet potato fries and numerous times for cooling my baked goods. I love the large size and the weight of this thing (feels heavy duty)! Also, it washes easily in the dishwasher. My only complaint is that upon arrival, the base of my cooling rack was uneven... Like a wobbly chair, its "feet" don't rest completely flat on a surface as they should. I decided to keep it anyway because it's not a huge deal or worth the trouble of exchanging, in my opinion. But, it would be a 5 star product if not for that defect.

Product is good but it mentions it will fit 18"×13" oven which is wrong it is small for 18" x 13" oven. The size of this tray is 17x 11 3/4 inch as it mentions. But for me no use🙄

I bought two of these racks. They have been getting a TON of use every day with half sheet pans I bought from a restaurant supply store.Dishwasher cleans them, can clean them by hand, they are still sturdy so far. They fit perfect in a half sheet pan.I keep things warm in the oven on these w a sheet pan, I cooked a prime rib on one w a sheet pan, I put frosted cookies on to dry, I use as a stand alone cooling rack, cooked egg rolls on the racks with a sheet pan and all surfaces cooked more evenly.Very happy so far.

The rack fits perfectly in a half sheet pan (from Sam's). The rack's measurements are 16 9/16" x 11 9/16" (on one end) & 11 5/8" (on the other) x 1/2" (immaterial variance). The rack is thinner and lighter than one of my other racks (it's 11.5 oz.), and can definitely be bent if you press on both ends (not that you'd do that) because the feet are not on the ends or sides of the rack. Per the manufacturer, it is made from 18/0 stainless steel (think everyday silverware). Also, per the manufacturer, it "can go as hot as what any home oven can get to" (they confirmed 550°), and is safe under the broiler (yep...broiled some bacon). It will hold a 5 quart cast iron Dutch oven (although I did it while it was empty), as well as a 15" cast iron skillet (with oil) without bending. I think the rack would hold up under evenly distributed weight.I made sweet potato fries, and clean up was was fine (although I sprayed it with Pam and baked fries don't make too much of a mess). I also broiled bacon and baked chicken wings (tested both without spraying with Pam). It was easy to clean after a short dishwater soak (like 2 minutes).I haven't tested it for cooling, as I bought it for cooking; and I already have cooling racks that are further from the counter than 1/2 inch.So far, I've seen no rust. I think this rack will hold up fine for baking, and last a while. If that changes, I'll update the review.UPDATE: I have had the rack for six years. It still looks the same as it did when I bought it. No rust or anything. I just recently tossed a Calphalon rack last week that was one year older. It was billed as no-rust. Well, it rusted and had been rusted for a while. So, this rack is better, and I just purchased another one to replace ol' rusty Cal.

It perfectly fits a half-hotel pan. I use it for oven roasting bacon, about 30 minutes at 350 degrees - makes perfect bacon without the splatter; great for freezing in small batches for quick breakfasts. If you have a dishwasher, this is easy cleanup. If you hand wash, as I do, you can flip the rack upside down back into the hotel pan with soapy water just covering the wires (you can use wet paper towels if you worry about spilling), let it soak while you do other things, and then use a regular heavy duty sponge/scrubber and it washes out easily - just be sure to get at the cross-hatches where bacon leavings can hide.This is a great, sturdy rack, perfect for cookies or the best rack for roasting meat or veggies. Worth every penny.

This rack fit perfectly in my half sheet pans (various mfg.). It was easy to clean, very sturdy and didn't warp in a 400F oven. The edges and welds were finished, so I did not encounter snagging while cleaning. The grid is just right...not too small to be a total pain to clean, but not too big where items could fall through. The grid is straight and the feet sit level in my pans. It fits in my dishwasher for even easier cleaning. If you are looking to roast something heavy (like a turkey or rib roast), please look for a MEAT roasting rack; that's not what this product is intended for. It does beautifully with bacon, kabobs, chicken pieces and the like. I paid full price for this item (bought 3 and may buy more) and I recommend it and would not be embarrassed to give it as a gift. I bake a LOT, and having a quality, sturdy cooling surface this big for a reasonable price is greatly appreciated.

I love this product. I've searched everywhere for a cooling rack that would fit perfectly into a half-size baking sheet. Most of them are made only as cooling racks covered with some kind of questionable coating and do not fit the sheets at all. This one is stainless steel, fits a half-sheet pan perfectly and is designed both for cooling and baking which makes it convenient to place underneath a broiler or on any of the oven racks. This allows me to roast or bake with the juices collecting in the pan, rather than having the food baking in liquid. This gives me crisper textures that are desirable for a lot of vegetarian cooking. I bought two of these a year or so ago and it seems they have made the new one even sturdier, though I was perfectly pleased with the first purchases. I definitely recommend this product!
