These figures are ridiculously tiny! About the size of my pinky fingernail. Would not recommend!

I've been wanting a nativity set and absolutely love this! The durability to withstand my rowdy kids who break everything nice is what I was looking for. My youngest is 7 so we are past the "choking hazard" stage. This would be a concern if I had toddlers and younger.The figurines are wood. If you look closely it's not the best paint job but it can be easily touched up. Otherwise, don't look too closely...it looks fine from a foot away.The Manger is porcelain and quite sturdy.This was a great buy for the price. This set is meant for small spaces, which I'll be keeping on the dining table or countertop so it's perfect.

I progressively set this up for my Secret Santa recipient and she loved seeing who was coming to the stable next. Set is small, but well made. Perfect for a desktop nativity scene.

Should have done more research. Listed as miniature kids nativity and oh yes it is. I would so for 5+. Most things tell you "choking hazard" this only shows size compared to hand. Not appropriate for my 2 yo, cause even though he normally doesnt put things in mouth, these pieces are enticing. Beautiful craftmans ship though

This set is really little as other reviewers have indicated. The people are about the size of Playmobile children and the baby Jesus and animals are even smaller. But they are very well made, and nicely painted, and really cute. My 3 year old is really enjoying arranging all the figures, and they are sturdy enough to withstand a young child's attention. It would be nice if they made a set that was about twice the size of this one and offered a set with Middle Eastern people (I repainted ours to make them more historically accurate).
