When using pillow as lumber support in indoor or outdoor sofa, office chair, love chairs, car seats, just pull the adjuster buckle to the bottom. The elastic band fits the length of the pillow.Pillowcase can be hand-washed or machine-washed, air-dry or machine-dry with low temperature.

Insert will fluff up after opening and is extremely comfortable. The pillow cover fabric is SOFT but also seems durable. Not sure if fabric color will fade from sun as it's too soon to tell but you can always use a UV protectant spray. The cover strap is adjustable and holds firm to lounge chair. I love these and have already received many compliments on how pretty and comfortable they are. Really pleased with this purchase.
