G80 Lifting Chain is Used
All of our G80 lifting chains have been tested to a maximum of 1102 pounds of single chain, so the maximum lifting rating of 2000 pounds is very safe for normal use, which is the first safety design of our products.
Widened Lifting Hook
The lifting pliers are made of the latest upgraded material low carbon alloy steel, with stronger tear resistance and thicker and wider design so that the gripper has a larger contact surface without piercing the drum, which is the second safety design of our products.
Automatic Spring Lock
Designed with spring latch, it will automatically lock when the drum is lifted up and pulled tight, and will not open until someone unlocks the latch, effectively preventing any drum from slipping during lifting, which is the third safety design of our products.

Got these to be able to move barrels of fluids on our farm. They work okay but don’t hold up due to rust and corrosion in the metal ends. Good idea but need better quality metals. Made in China.

I use it to move around plastic 55-gallon drums. It grips the lip very well and securely. Very good product and excellent price!

Over all this thing is amazing product and for the price it’s a good deal. 55 and 85 gallon drums is a breeze to lift. I had to make a 2 foot chain to go around the fork on the fork lift.

Been using the Chain Drum Lifter for a few weeks, lifting and transporting drums, and it's been working well. I'm using it on drums with the tops cut out, but the lip still intact (burning barrel, trash barrel etc). I haven't lifted any drums over 300lbs. but see no reason why it wouldn't lift heavies drums with ease.

I actually purchased this for work - we've struggled with 55gal waste drums, trying to move them around either by hand (which royally sucks) or with a drum dolly (which sucks just slightly less). I got this to use with one of our forklifts. I ended up having to make a bracket because I didn't realize it was a crane style grabber, but that's my bad. The tool itself works very well, and has lifted 100+ in the past month or so and has shown absolutely no signs of wear!
