G80 Lifting Chain is Used
All of our G80 lifting chains have been tested to a maximum of 4,000 pounds of single chain, so the maximum lifting rating of 2,200 pounds is very safe for normal use, which is the first safety design of our products.
Widened Lifting Hook
The lifting pliers are made of the latest upgraded material low carbon alloy steel, with stronger tear resistance and thicker and wider design so that the gripper has a larger contact surface without piercing the drum, which is the second safety design of our products.
Automatic Spring Lock
Designed with spring latch, it will automatically lock when the drum is lifted up and pulled tight, and will not open until someone unlocks the latch, effectively preventing any drum from slipping during lifting, which is the third safety design of our products.

This lifter is well made and attaches nicely and easily to the barrels. With the hooks at the top, it allows different ways of lifting. Making it much easier for moving barrels around. Nice tool to have around the shop for moving around large barrels.

This drum lifter is so convenient to have around. Makes moving heavy drums around a lot easier and faster! It doesn’t look like it works that great but boy does it! The hooks are surprisingly effective and do their job well. Easy to use. Made of heavy duty chain. Sturdy and durable. It’s got some weight to it. Good price! Can use it to lift other heavy objects. Works good with lots of different machinery. Would definitely recommend if you deal with drums or barrels at all!

I've only moved one drum with it so far, but it honestly worked great. It was a drum full of used motor oil. With a skid steer, it couldn't have been easier to move.

So far this is working fine. The drums I am lifting are only about 450 pounds. The weak pint of this lift is probably the bolts and forging at the top end. I will never lift 2200 pounds but it is nice to know there is a large margin.The ring is about 5.4 inches wide at the very top. It tapers out and you could get a wider fork in but it would only be making contact at the sides of the ring.Overall I am pleased with this lift.

This is one well built implement, I'm honestly impressed. Pretty sure that it could life many times the weight that you could get into a 50 gal drum. It's supper easy to attach to the drum with one hand and just as easy to detach, yet ill not release when lifting.The handle has a slot for fork lift and a round hole for hooks, chain, or even a hay bail carrier (i8 was too lazy to switch to the forks when i wanted to move the drum. I looked around and the other lifters out there were either inferior, or the same product at a higher price, sometimes with a different color paint. You won't regret picking this one, especially if you have to life a heavy drum.

I really like these. They make life so much easier when moving drums. I also like the place for a fork to fit through for lifting. They do what they say. I haven't had any issues lifting plastic or metal drums with them. The only thing the claim to not lift is the plastic drums that have a lid. I have some that don't have lids, and I found that if I notch the are down about 1", it allows the clamps to drop low enough to grab the lower lip so I can lift those as well. Overall, I'm really happy with them.
