I’ve got this thing to work a couple times but it’s so random. I have 2 bottles that I can no longer fill, I’ve filled them in the past but since I replaced the yellow T-Seal they won’t refill anymore. Super annoying, I’ve always had little issues here and there with this setup so am going to look at the adapter that connect directly to my E-Terra from the 20lb Co2 tank.A couple things to mention that I’ve worked through:1. Make sure your tank is a siphon tank, otherwise you’ll need to turn it upside down to refill the sodastream cartridge.2. Place your sodastream cartridge in the freezer for a few hours before filling. Otherwise you’ll only get a 1/2 fill.3. Do not accidentally turn the purge valve to open before closing the Co2 tank! Made this mistake and just about blew out my ear drums! That’s when I did blowout the yellow T-Seal…Good luck!

I just gave to remember to turn the 5lb cylinder up side down to fill, cause the 5 Ib's don't have a drop tube.

So simple and safe to use. I have had a 5 pound bottle of CO2 and a regulator for decades to carbonate my homebrew. A Sodastream is sooooo much faster at carbonating water. I pay $15 to fill that huge bottle. And with this device, I'll never run out of gas. I can always go fill up my bottle at any welding shop in town in just a few minutes. You should buy this!!

This feels pretty well-made. There is one thing that the user should be very, very aware of. If your CO2 cylinder does not have a siphon tube, then you should absolutely NOT use this with your larger CO2 tank! I cannot stress this enough. If you have a beverage CO2 tank (for soda or beer) and if you connect it to a keg (or anything else) to pressurize with gaseous CO2, then that means your CO2 tank DOES NOT HAVE A SIPHON TUBE. The instructions (very, very dangerously) recommend that you invert your large tank for filling so that the liquid CO2 can flow into the sodastream cylinder. This can cause your gas valve to break and turn your large tank into a deadly rocket. If you are going to use this, then just make sure that you get a tank with a siphon tube, because all CO2 cylinders should always remain upright, and particularly so while in operation.

I have a retirement home in Belize so CO2 exchange is not possible. I bought this and followed the instructions, and it is very simple with a CO2 tank with Siphon tube. I have 20lb tank with a siphon tube around 170 bucks. Put the cylinders in the freezer overnight. I weighed a new SodaStream canister at it was 1.183 kg and empty most of mine were .76 Kg. I filled 6 canisters without issue. Wear a kitchen mitt as it is easier to hold. All the cans filled to 1.15 to 1.18Kg. Beats trying to ship canisters down here with no way to return. 20lb tank refill costs 54 bucks and should fill at least 20 canisters sounder 3 bucks so a no briner for a $210 investment. Refilling 7 canisters for me is payback.

Looks well built. Threads onto tank smoothly and doesn't require much tork. Buy the extra gaskets. I blew a gasket on first attempt, my bad, pulled 60L tank without relieving pressure. Buy a tank with siphon hose or you will have to invert tank. I frooze the 60L tanks over night before I loaded them. Simple, fun, and effective. The only thing holding you back is your fear. Just to it.

I am now ready to start saving $$$$. I filled up my first Quick Connect cylinder. I should have weighed the empty cylinder before I filled it up - just so I knew. I worked so easily. I needed to research the process because my big CO2 tank does NOT have the Syphon/Dip tube. So, I read to turn my big tank upside down. However, that made me nervous and since my big tank was full, I opted to simply lay the tank on its side. Well, that worked out perfectly. I got my cylinder filled to within one once of a brand new unused Quick Connect cylinder. In order to be safe going forward, I taped the included step-by-step instructions right onto my big CO2 tank. This device was so simple to set up and use. I love it. It is a great product and well worth the investment !!!!

My wife loves her sodastream, so when her source of filled CO2 bottles (Bed,Bath & Beyond) went belly-up, we had trouble finding refills - which are about $15 - half of the cost for a new bottle. So, I researched filling them myself and found this gadget. All I can say is that it works as advertised. I spent some time watching YouTube videos that gave tips on usage and the first time I filled a bottle, it worked perfectly. Just a few things to look for - the fittings are different for the old blue bottles. This is only for the new pink ones. Be sure to freeze the empty sodastream bottle before filling - and wear winter gloves when handling. Be sure to fill the sodastream bottle very slowly - open the valve on the CO2 tank slooooowly - just until you hear it flowing. Hold the CO2 tank as if you were pouring CO2 into the sodastream bottle. I hold the CO2 tank upside-down. My wife says the refilled bottles work and last the same as the $15 refills.
