This is easy to configure - the default IP address is printed on the device, along with the default username and password. Configure your PC to that network, browse to it with your favorite web browser.I set mine to us a static IP address in our company's data subnet.TCP mode, I set it in Server Mode using the standard Telnet port number 23. I set the Server-mode timeout to 60 minutes.UDP mode - I left this disabled.UART - I set it to 9600, 8, none, 1. hardware flow control - I have tried it both enabled and disabled - both give me the same result.Deliminator - I left this all unchecked.I am able to log into and manage a Mitel SX200 EL. With the exception of backups everything seems to work.I have another similar device that is allowing backups to work through it, but that company isn't around anymore. We will try another device and see if we can get something that will permit backups through it. When we do, we will deploy them to our customers to allow us to remotely manage their phone systems.

By fumbling around I was finally able to get this working. In particular, there is no explanation for the 'delimiter' character options under UART - not even the expected radix (is decimal or hexadecimal argument used, and if the latter what format, e.g. 0x0D vs 0Dh?). Honestly, how much more effort would it have taken to outline these?

But it took a week to set the converters up for use. The instruction manual, half English/Chinese gives no instructions - only clues. If you are not an IT configuration exper I would look for converters with instruction written for the average user.Tony in PA

No driver included, terrible manual, cannot connect. Ended up buying another one that had zero issues and was easy to use
