It is good-looking. The off-white color appears white if the trash can is not next to something that is white.I use it with 10 liter SimpleHuman trash can liners. They fit well after I learned to fold the top over and keep it tensioned while inserting the new liner.The sheet metal exterior is very thin and feels so. I don't yet know if this will make the can too un-durable (I gave up looking for English here) in the long run. I have to be a little careful about moving the can when I step on the opener pedal.If you are putting it into a narrow space, remember that many toilets are wider near the top while you are making your measurements.

This trash can is attractive and works well for my needs. I bought the black with gold trim and gold foot pedal. It is the perfect size to fit between the toilet and tub. It has a removable plastic insert that makes cleaning easy. The lid opens easily and quietly with the foot pedal or your hand. Perfect size for bathrooms. Highly recommend.
