Disclaimer: I received this product at no cost via the Amazon Vine program; however I will not let that influence my review of the product. I do professional auto detailing and so I have a lot of experience with many detailing products. These applicators works great to apply LSP or ceramic coatings. If you use them for ceramic coatings you will only get 2 uses out of each of them (one for each side) becasue the coating will harden on the applicator even if you clean them immediately after use. This is common for all ceramic coating applicators so it's not a knock against this particular product. If you're using anything besides a ceramic coating, you can certainly clean and reuse these applicators except that I wouldn't dry them in a clothes dryer becasue the heat will mess up the plastic layer inside and deform the applicator. The applicators are a decent size, hold their shape well enough, and are pretty decent at not soaking up too much coating/product.

Seems like Cerakote is expanding into more of the detailing world than just coatings, which is great to see! These microfiber applicators are just what you need for applying an even coating of ceramic protection to your paint. There's two sides, so you can get double the use out of each one, and easily keep track of which side you've used. The foam inside is light, and not overly firm, so don't squeeze too hard, but these will conform to curved features and panel edges. They don't shed, and will leave a smooth even finish. No issues with frayed edges or anything. My only complaint might be the cost, at three bucks a piece they are a bit pricy. If you're applied a Cerakote coating, you won't be disappointed with their applicators.(PS - Don't wash and reuse these if you apply a ceramic coating. They'll become stiff and the crystals in the cured coating may scratch your paint if you use them again. Ceramic coating applicators are generally considered single use items.)

The Cerakote Premium Microfiber Applicator (Pack of 3) - Quality Microfiber Material - Washable and Reusable - Perfect for Car Coating Application are great applicators for all sorts of automotive polishes. The applicators are well made and have a plastic liner under the surface to prevent product from absorbing into the applicator itself. One important thing to note - and that many people miss - is that these applicators are consumables or one use items. If you use the applicator for ceramic coatings it is one use only. You cannot wash it and use it again. However, for about $3 each the cost is negligible, especially compared to the $30,000 to $100,000 you spend on your vehicle. The applicators are easy to hold and apply an even coat of product. They hold enough to make an even stroke and both side are usable making for an efficient applicator system. They work much better than an old rag which is what a lot of people try to use with uneven results. If you want good results when you coat your car these are the applicators for you.

I have low profile tires on my car and the spray tire shine goes on everything. Sometimes the thick sprays go on in a stream and makes them look weird. These microfiber sponges are the perfect size to apply shine on the sides on my tires without getting all over my rims. They're also easy to clean with a bit of dish soap and hot water. They also have another good purpose- applying leather conditioner to my shoes and boots. Perfect size for shoes and fits well in your hand to make polishing shoes and boots much easier.Great price for quality and the many uses they offer!

Using this for conditioning the interior plastics of my truck. Was using some big boxstore microfiber sponges that were pretty thin. These are much thick and can compress into the tight cracks and crevices applying the product nicely.

If you want to apply a ceramic coating with this type of microfiber applicator, this is one to use. While it looks similar to other offerings, it has a plastic, liquid proof layer between the microfiber cover and the sponge below. The last thing you want/need is your expensive ceramic coating soaking into the sponge and being wasted. That layer serves to keep the coating on the surface of the applicator where it belongs. The size is typical for these type of applicators. The sponges core makes it easier to coat contours. The microfiber material is quite soft. They are easier to use than a sued cloth wrapped around a stiff sponge block. All in all, these are a nice way to apply a coating.NOTE: These are listed as washable and reusable. That is true if you are using them to apply something OTHER than a ceramic coating. If used to apply a ceramic coating, you get two uses, the top and the bottom, and they are trash. The microfiber material will get quite stiff as the coating cures.Even if you immediately immerse these in a bucket of water with microfiber detergent after use, they are done. The same holds true for the microfiber towels you use to level the coating. The guy on the YouTube Forensic Detailing channel did an interesting experiment. After leveling a newly applied ceramic coating, he immediately fully immersed the towels in a bucket of water with a microfiber detergent. The towels went straight from the bucket to a washing machine. Subsequent microscopic examination revealed ceramic coating still embedded in the microfiber fibers and micro scratching when using those towels on paint.I highly recommend these applicators for applying ceramic coatings. They will save you money when you factor in the cost of the coating that won't be wasted.

I really like the small size which is nice for small and tight areas. I would prefer the inside was packed with a stiffer material. It deformed rather quickly but that isn’t a dealbreaker with me. I will buy these again.
