Got my wife's computer routed into the same printer as mine. Connection is oversized, however, so had to cut some plastic away from the printer case to plug it in.

Bought to connect an old HP Laserjet 8000 printer to my PC via standard Centronics parallel cable. The adapter worked perfectly.

I ordered a single Parallel Port Fast Ethernet Print server (device to hook an old printer up to the network) and forgot to order this adapter. Most older HP models had a Mini Parallel port instead of a full sized. This thing plugged right into the TP-Link TL-PS110P and prints like a charm now without having to be plugged into any computer. The whole house can print to this thing now. However my luck after spending this money on the printer it will finally break after 8 years of wonderful service.

Just as the other reviewers said, if you have an old HP 1100 LaserJet Printer and you need to plug it into a newer PC this little baby, in conjunction with the USB to Parallel IEEE 1284 adopter cable,will hook you right up...just plug it in and your good to go...cost maybe $15-$20 tops...much cheaper than a new printer.

All in all, a decent product... works... what more would you want / expect in an adapter!I hope it was not so 'deep'... after attaching it, I had to give extra 4 inches to the printer from the wall!

This adapter worked very well with Windows 7 and a HP 1100 printer that I had laying around. I had to get a parallel to USB converter in order to hook up to the printer, but the printer has a mini-centronics connection on it. This device helped to make that transition easy.

Don't waste your time. I received it timely, with a good price, but it wouldn't hook to the printer solidly. One side was not hooking. This was on both of my printers, not just one. The amount of money wasn;t enough to waste any more time on.
