Seems very well made and packaging was excellent, however it didn't come with mounting hardware? I guess they assume that everyone should have these bolts and washers on hand? But with me building from ground up using a brand new predator 212 I have no way of attaching the thing to the motor without another trip to local hardware store hints the 3 star review. Very disappointing to say the least was hoping to get running today. Being that the clutch was the final piece to the puzzle, super let down. And my biggest complaint is the cheaper option showed it came with this hardware, yet the more expensive one does not? That don't make much since in my opinion!

The clutch works great and grabs a lot better than the stock clutch, really makes it quicker off the line.

If your swapping engines on a mini bike and the stock engine has a 5/8inch shaft to a predator 212cc the predator has a 3/4inch shaft. You will need a 3/4 inch spacer and the clutch bolt because the smaller spqcer and bolt will not work on the predator shaft. So if you decide to swap engines and don’t want to spend the money on a torque converter you will still need to spend give or take $20 on the bolt and spacer to make this clutch work. School of hard knocks. Had I known then what I know now I would have just spent the $60 for the torque converter. The Jack shaft set up will likely fail in time regardless; torque converter is the way to go. Now I’m waiting on parts… a simple bolt and a simple spacer. The spacer was $11 and the bolt was $10 add the $25 for the clutch plus tax and basically the cost for a torque converter.. an extra $15 and have low end power to climb stuff etc easily worth the extra $15 … now if your going to do the torque converter right get the engine riser… that’s basically an additional $70 unless you can make your own engine blocks to raise the engine to make the converter clear the frame. Not sure if the stock chain is long enough after that because I haven’t had to try yet. To be continued. The description also says nothing larger than 200cc… the predator is 212cc and it also says not higher than a certain rpm… the predator exceeds the specs for this clutch. Something to think about.. just know minibikes are money pits.. goood luck… if your new at this..

If you're buying this, you already know what it does. It works. The only issue is, it doesn't really say the engagement RPM, and it doesn't come with addidtional springs if you want to change that engagement value.

This is my second time ordering this clutch but I don’t even need it honestly. Ive had this same clutch on my mini bike for about 3 months and still do. I put it to the test! My mini bike has a very tall gear ratio with the clutch being 12 tooth and a 45 tooth rear chain ring(3.75gear ratio)which gets me up to about 45 mph! Because if this the clutch has to slip A LOT until it engages and locks up but even though it slips A lot and is on a 7hp engine it does it easily. It’s made of hardened steel Which is what makes it so durable. Make sure to lube the bearing journal for the clutch before each use to get longer life out of it. I use some cheap high temp grease which does a great job just don’t get it on the clutch surface. All in all this is a good clutch for the price! It’s worth the extra 10$ compared to other clutches.👍

Update: the company reached out to me and apologized for their poor machining, however the sales rep was clearly Not from an English speaking country originally, and they told me being a girl makes it complicated to understand the clutch? They offered to send me another clutch, this one was machined worse than the first one, and will need to be cleaned up before it can be used. Save your money and buy a clutch that fits.On my motor the clutch needs to be installed with the sprocket facing the engine block, they did a horrible job at machining the woodruff key (which is permanently installed in the clutch, not floating)I purchased this clutch for a 196cc Honda clone motor. The machining on the key for this clutch was sub par, there was a big lip in the bearing surface and the clutch would not clear my crankshaft. After some sanding with a drill and barrel sander it now fits. I would have returned it but I decided to finish machining it at make it work. Clutch engages and disengages just fine, but quality is sub par. The $16 clutch I bought was nicer.
