It was a breeze to install but I had some issues with wiring colors with my older Hunter fan. I figured it out after searching for different install diagrams. It goes to the fastest speed first, then slows down with each click. I may have the high and low wires reversed, but it works great other than that.

Good value for the money. The switch was perfectly compatible for my application, ease of replacing....well take pic of your old switch b4 you disconnect it. My old switch labels were a little different from the new but it was easy to sort it out. Connection was easy, fitting the cover back on when I was done took a little effort. I'd surely do it again.

The switch arrived quickly (next day). I appreciate that it was not wrapped in plastic, just loose in the envelope. As others have mentiioned in their reviews, the colours of the wires did not match the original. I mapped the order of the wires starting at the pull chain and this worked perfectly. For a very modest cost we are back to having a ceiling fam that operates at 3 speeds. Thank you Amazon!

Worked as expected but prob will have same problem as to why I needed to replace this to begin with. The part seems to be same quality or original string pull and will break with time.

The fact the switch comes with 4 wires already installed makes it a lot easier than other options. Also, in the Amazon product details, there is a detailed key for wires color matches with the different products. Excellent.

I liked that it was easy to replace old broken one. Colors on wires are different then my wiring, take a picture so you can rewire it the right way.

The replacement unit fit directly into my Hunter ceiling fan switch housing. Wire colours, though different from original were easy to match as the new switch was clearly numbered for each wire as was the OEM switch. Match 'em up and install. Works perfectly!
