- Make sure that the replacement light switch has 2 wires.If there are 3 wires, A 3-wire switch is required, such as:ze-110 switch.
- First, cut the two wires from the existing switch using utility knife or wire stripper.
- Then, strip black wires around 1/2 inch，Connect one black wire from the light switch to one black wire from the ceiling fan.
- Next, connect the other black wire from the light switch to the other black wire from the ceiling fan.
- Twist the wire clockwise or fix the links between wires with nuts(Connection of wires must be secured, otherwise, it may result in fire hazard, electrical shock).

Worked with my ceiling fan just fine! Seems to feel better than the original so hopefully it will last longer too! Too bad everything is made from plastic. If they made them like they did in the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s they would never break and go bad!

My fans had issues turning on and off the light with the chain. I watched a YouTube video on how to replace the pull chain device. It took less than 15 minutes. A tip: Waiting a head light/lamp really helps you see. This saved having to replace the fan! Excellent purchase. Easy to swap out.
