I’m always looking for additions to my percussion kit and this Ceaz Jam Block is just perfect. It has a great tone and a more organic sound than I expected from a synthetic block. It also has really good volume. It has a standard type of mounting bracket, so it can be added to my everything rack. It can also be hand held, so it’s great for when I can’t bring my whole set up to a gig, but still need that woodblock sound. It comes with a cute key ring with mini drum sticks.

This jam block gets a very similar sound to the "name brand" block that I have. Should work well as that one wears out. (I use these to help provide tempos for marching band parade blocks when we can't use our metronome/speaker.)The one concern I have is the thin hardware (comparison in the picture--this block is red, the "name brand" is blue). Smaller wingnuts make it harder to attach to the accessory mounts, and the thinner metal makes me worry it would stand up to my drumset players who are channeling their inner Animal.

I have had several metal cowbells before but this is my first plastic jam block. It is strong and sturdy so it was able to take a beating. Sound is different and unique in a good way but it is tough to describe. It offers tremendous value for the price so I suggest you get one and it to your percussion collection.

Yes, jam blocks, wood blocks, etc are meant to be loud, but this thing REALLY cuts through any mix and sounds incredible. Definitely use this for louder mix and live performances when you want to make a statement! I have their smaller blue jam block and use that one for quieter scenarios. The red block rocks and gets used primarily when I have to play over several other drummers. It will grab your attention for sure! Glad I got this jam block!

This is a pretty nice Jam Block, and sounds pretty standard like I expected. What I didn't expect, since this is my first time using one, is that it is very loud, it really projects at me. I assume that's very normal. The plastic is very thick, and it looks very durable. There were no major flaws like cracks or anything that would detract from the sound. The cute keychain was a nice touch too! The price of this is very reasonable, and it came with a clamp attached to it for connecting to a rod, but no additional mounting hardware. You will need more hardware to connect this to a regular stand, but that may have doubled the price if they had included that. I guess it's better to select exactly what you'd prefer, and in my case I can connect this right next to my cowbell on the same mount so I appreciate them not adding the expense. As for the sound, it's a little higher pitched than my cowbell, and it has much less ring than the bell understandably, since it is not metal and way thicker, the sound decays extremely fast. I'm happy with it and it adds variety to my kit. Thanks so much for offering it.

For a plastic jam block this sounds pretty good. I grew up with a wood block on my brother's kit, but apparently those aren't easily found at reasonable prices any longer. The mounting hardware dropped right on a spare tom mounting spindle on the kit and looks like it should stay tight over a period of time. The mini-drumsticks, keyring is a cute goodie to include in the package.

I love this clacking it’s one of my favorites. Each one of these pieces that you get tend to have a different tone or sound, and this one is really good. Great gift for any music, lover, or drummer. And just a great addition to any gym kit.
