The directions on the tabs to help you center the screen were backwards. Step 1 tab was actually the tacky glue that holds to the screen. So once removed, the front was impossible to smooth out...because it was glue...and backwards. After that one was ruined, on to #2 screen protector. The "glue" on this one was only sticky on one side, which makes it impossible for it to fully secure to the whole screen, leaving bubbles and parts of it not adhering properly. Looks like crap. Also, nearly impossible to see with polarized sunglasses on. On a positive note, it was the correct size.

The cleaning applicator could be a little wetter or larger, or both. I have a lot of bubbles due to the cleaning pad being too dry and not removing all of the dirt. I will have to take the vehicle in to have the second one installed. Bubbles everywhere on the screen. Otherwise, the fit, instructions and applicating alignment tabs are spot on. I just don't know what kind of chemical to use to clean the screen to get it clean enough so that this can be put on and look great without bubbles.

I never write reviews but after seeing multiple reviews stating this doesn’t fit the new 2022 outlander display screen I still bought it anyway to have some sort of protection as I started seeing a few small hairline scratches on the display from the few months I’ve owned mine. This is a perfect fit for the SEL trim. I bought the 9 inch screen which is exact for my trim. I can see how the other trim models this would not be a fit as the actual screen is smaller than the SEL. If you have an SEL trim which is a 12 inch display, (not sure about the special edition SEL) this is the product for you. Installation was straight forward, it comes with an instruction page (with pictures), a microfiber cloth (although I used my own), dust lifter (basically a sticker to ensure after cleaning there is no residue before final application), the guide stickers and then a combing tool with a fabric end to remove the bubbles. 10/10 would recommend if you have a 2022 Mitsubishi outlander SEL trim looking for something to protect your investment.
