Installed on top bunk in condo, had to modify the bed frame but worked great, used longer screws to make very sturdy and safe for kids.

The wooden rail itself is very nice and works great once you get it attached well. The bracket it comes with is made of an extremely soft metal, possibly aluminum and bends with the slightest touch. You will need to either scre all the way through the bedframe into the wood of the rail itself or purchase a more sturdy bracket for it to be functional. I had some good brackets on hand so that was an easy fix for us and we are happy with our purchase.

Product works and looks great but is more sturdy pushing out away from the bed. Any force pushing towards the bed causes the metal brackets to bend very easy.Works great for my toddler but a little difficult sitting on the outside of the bed soothing someone inside
