We use these clips for our patio tarps outdoors. They have all held up well and have not shown any signs of rust as some other "stainless steel" products have. These are the real deal.

The parts are decent quality fabrication, but they are NOT Stainless steel. I think/hope they are at least zinc plated steel to offer some corrosion resistance. I will use them and see how quickly they start to rust.

Nice stainless steel snaps much cheaper than what I have been able to find other places. I am using them on my tent ropes and other places that might get wet and they are working great so far.
