I followed the measuring instructions and these trail boots fit my horse perfectly. He had instant relief when I walked him across the rocks. He walks, trots and lopes with no pain wearing these boots. I can't speak to durability since we've only had these boots for a few days, but I suspect they will hold up well as they are well made and appear very durable. In my opinion, they are well worth the money spent and I would purchase them again.

I just rode on a 10 mile trail competition with these Cavallo boots! They were amazing! It was a very technical competition, forging streams, and climbing rock mountains. Doing obstacles like side passing, lateral moves and backing. Not only that my horse is gaited! The sturdy velcro and strong straps were steadfast! I didn’t have to get off once to readjust or put my boots back on.I was a easyboot fan before I bought these, but I had trouble with the screws coming off. After having to get on and off to readjust — thislead me to seek other boots! I’m so glad I got these! It’s definitely worth the money!

I ordered these boots as a backup to my mare's regular Trek boots. She has been sore on one forefoot due to thin soles and our graveled barnyard, so I ordered the Trek boots first, and was very impressed with them. Due to some wet weather and some muddy areas, not to mention regular dirt accumulation, I decided to order a less expensive pair as a backup when the Treks needed serious cleaning. Although she wears a size 2 in the Treks, this style seems to run smaller, or maybe the Treks run large?? I would say it's my imagination but I use comfort pads trimmed to a size 2, and they do not fit well in these, but are perfect in the Treks. These boots fit well for about 2 weeks after a trim. After that, they are a bit snug. She does move better in these, however, which I believe is due to the snug fit. In any case, both styles are made really well and I believe these will hold up as well as the Treks. They are both very easy to put on, are made of durable materials and have replaceable velcro straps, although the Treks haven't needed replacing just yet. I'm hoping to not have to use them all the time, and that the thin soles were due to the very wet weather we had, but only time will tell. Also, these do not seem to rub, and the Treks do so maybe the snug fit prevents that?? I started using a pair of my husband's old socks with the foot cut off as gaiters with both styles, just in case. Overall, I would recommend these boots but do make sure you carefully measure your horse's foot using the printable sizing tool provided, and when putting them on your horse, do so in a clean environment in case they don't fit well. I do think these are a really good buy.

This is a great boot! I used the sizing chart and it fit perfectly. My mare blew a huge abscess out of her frog, so I needed a boot to turn her out in while the hole closed. The only extra thing I did to make sure the boot stayed on was i tied the velcro closed with baling twine. She hadn't lost it, but I didn't want to take chances and I know turnout is really hard on boots. It stayed on thru her crazy gallops and being a nut, which is quite impressive. Mare can run! It was very muddy as well. After a month it fell apart, but that was very expected considering the hard 24/7 use it got. It did the job!
