The calculator is well lit, and the numbers are large to read. The keys are also well marked and easy to read. From what I can tell so far the calculations are accurate. Would recommend.

:I recently purchased the CATIGA CD-2786 Desktop Calculator, Here’s what I like about it:Pros: Large LCD Display – The numbers are easy to read, even from an angle, making it great for quick calculations. Sensitive Buttons – The keys are responsive and well-spaced, providing a smooth typing experience without accidental presses. Dual Power (Solar & Battery) – The solar panel works well in good lighting, and the backup battery ensures it functions in dim conditions. Standard Functions – It covers all the basic operations, including percentage and memory functions, making it ideal for office, school, and home use. Lightweight & Stylish – The light blue color gives it a fresh look, and it’s compact enough to fit easily on my desk without taking up much space.Cons: Not Backlit – The screen is clear in normal lighting, but it’s not illuminated, so it may be a bit harder to see in low-light conditions. Plastic Build – While it feels durable enough for everyday use, it’s lightweight plastic, so dropping it might not end well.Final Verdict:This is a great calculator for everyday use—simple, reliable, and easy to read. If you need a functional and affordable desktop calculator, this one is a solid choice!

This calculator is perfect size. Being 84 years old my eyesight is not what it used to be. The buttons are large enough to avoid the dreaded “two button push” you didn’t intend. I don’t need all the fancy buttons that students or accountants might need. The basics are all there.

I buy these for my showroom associates. I realize they can use their phones, but I like the larger buttons and read-out to show customers pricing. I believe they look more professional than holding up a personal phone, but that's just me. The numbers are easy to read, it's comfortable in hand and the price is right!

This is a review of the following item: "Desktop Calculator 12 Digit with Large LCD Display and Sensitive Button, Solar and Battery Dual Power, Standard Function for Office, Home, School, CD-2786 (Blue)"It's exceedingly rare that I upload a negative customer review for any product which I purchase on Amazon.ca. However, I felt "ethically" compelled to do so in this particular instance.This calculator was purchased for my own use in the (finance) company where I work. The cost was fully covered by my employer. After two months of regular daily use, calculator's performance remains acceptable.The (blue) calculator received from Amazon was a "Catiga Two-Power Calculator" Model CD-2786-12, which - of course - was manufactured in China. The Amazon delivery was notably swift. The calculator is as advertised (e.g., large tilted LCD display screen, large buttons, etc.) and seems to work properly and charges both quickly and efficiently using the small integrated solar cells. Though, it's certainly not a high-quality product - with a flimsy plastic housing and buttons.To my utter bewilderment, enclosed in the package upon arrival was a small invoice specifying a total dollar value of $9.99. Yet, as advertised on Amazon at the time, I was charged $36.81, plus tax.Let me be abundantly clear, this calculator is NOT worth the advertised price. If you search on the websites of other Canadian vendors, such as Staples, BestBuy, Walmart, etc., you will quickly discover better products at a FRACTION of the price charged by this seller on Amazon. Caveat emptor!
