Not sure why water keeps leaking out. I have tried it twice. Both times water leaked out. What a mess.

I have 7 small dogs inside and needed something that would keep them in fresh water all day. This is the perfect thing. It is strong and put together well. I found it to be a great value for the money. It is very easy to refill and replace with no mess. My dog babies have fresh water all day!

My cats showed a lot of ambivalence to the electric fountain with the pump and spout despite being big fans of drinking of the bathtub. The recycling of the water may be what they're not do into.So, I took a chance on this gravity dispenser. So far, they love drinking from it. It's a small, shallow dish but that means it gets refilled frequently by the dispenser and the cats seem to appreciate that the water stays fresh.However, it seems to leak. I'm not clear where this is coming from but it just seems to be more water pooling than would be explained by them splashing water outside the bowl, but I guess it could be that too. However, the included mat is sufficient to catch the water that pools. Unfortunately, it's a floppy mat so it's not easy to carry to the sink without it spilling so best to keep a rag under it.I appreciate the metal bowl, and the easy to clean construction, and it doesn't look super cheap like some of the other gravity dispensers. It's a win if my picky cats like it.

I had used a competitors dispenser but had been disappointed in that one. This dispenser is very easy to use and the valve closes off the water until you place the reservoir in the dispenser. The stainless steel bowl is very easy to clean as well.

This has really helped add more water options for my cats. As this is gravity fed water I don't have to worry about putting it near a plug socket like a normal cat fountain. I really appreciate the bowel being made out of stainless steel as we have hard water and this makes it easier to clean. Filling the bottle was easy and the cap added to it was really clever as there is no water released until there is pressure from it being upside down. Everything is also easy to take apart for cleaning and the included brush is very useful to get into the top of the bottle. The mat and the weight of it has meant that the cats have not been able to knock it over, despite them running around chasing each other. The size of the bottle is also really good, it took several filtered water fills, but so far has lasted a over a week for my 2 cats. But this is their secondary source in the house, the other being a powered fountain. The only issue is the water in the bowel is very hard to see how much is in there for humans or for cats, solved with an aquarium safe leaf to mimic an outdoor puddle.

I have a single cat. I did have a plastic waterer for her but I found it was growing black mold that I could not get off. Felt gross to let my cat drink from that. This one holds more water and has a stainless steel tray that is removable so I can throw it in the dishwasher. I feel it's more sanitary and easy to wash. It is easy to put the water in too. It has a pressure valve on it so you can turn it upside down into the chamber and it doesn't spill water all over. Very happy with it and I feel it is of good value and size. Also is pretty sturdy, I'm not afraid of knocking it over or anything.
