My cat loves this brush, though not crazy about the steam must! He rolls over and exposed his stomach to be brushed and rubs up against it! I love it for the ease to remove the collected hair and he is short haired! Great investment!

My cat has very dense thick fur and her undercoat is hard to penetrate even with a shower sprayer. She is a rather chunky kitty so it's hard for her to clean herself. That's why when I seen this brush i thought it would be perfect to help lift away the loose undercat and also help clean her since it sprays a mist as you brush. She is terrified of the hissing sound the mist nozzle makes so she wants nothing to do with that process whatsoever. I tried to use the brush by its self and it picked up no fur what so ever. I even tried shortening the bristles by placing a couple broken off toothpicks under that fur removal plate but still no luck getting any fur off. So i went back to my old standby. I took a normal human comb to brush her and as i did ,the loose fur was coming off with ease. I had to remove mounds of fur from the comb to continue brushing. I personally think this brush is junk and Although it was very inexpensive, i should have bought something else. Maybe one day when I get another dog, these may work for that purpose. Definitely not for a cat though.

Works well however cats are scared of the misting sound.

Easy to use. My cat doesn't like the spray so I do not use the spray portion as often. But the brush is amazing, helps get a lot of the undercoat and reduces shedding.

My cat has very sensitive skin. I was hesitant to try such an aggressive type of brush. We needed something to get that loose deep fur though. My cat loves the brush, she asks for it. I can’t run the moisture while brushing, the little cloud of mist freaks her out. So I just cup my hand over the bristles and allow the moisture to gather on them. It really gets that loose fur, and cleaning it is very easy and cleans the brush thoroughly. The pic above is of the brush and the fur it caught in 2 very short brushings that she came to me and asked for. Just listen to your pets when you use it, they’ll tell you when they have had enough ;) BTW she is a very small DSH ( domestic short hair ).The water tank is very small but lasts a very long time on a single fill, at least for me. The tank of easy to fill with the bottle they include, just under the faucet with some care. The plug works great and seals well, it does not leak at all. I’m considering getting a second brush to keep in reserve!Take care all and be safe!JosephPS I had to stop twice while writing this to brush her lol

Right now, there are 11 cats in my house.Four are permanent; the others are a mama and a litter of fosters.I have dander allergies so it's important that they all stay clean and groomed. This brush does a good job of collecting the hair so it's not flying around the room or getting stuck in the fan.Unfortunately, my cats do NOT like the sound it makes when it comes on and I have to hold them in place while using it. Not a big issue but it makes what should be a bonding moment, less enjoyable for them. They do seem to enjoy it once I'm actively using it on them.I don't know if there's anything that could be done about the noise (which isn't a lot to be fair). But there are a couple of things that I think could be addressed to make it function better. One is the water reservoir. Instead of having a hollowed-out handle and a tiny water bubble in the head, the handle could be utilized as a much bigger reservoir so it didn't have to be filled every single time it's used.Another thing is the missing bristles around the spray nozzle. It creates a dead space while brushing that means I have to go over the same space several times. And lastly, the head is really big for an average-sized cat.I like the idea but it needs some improvements.

My Giant Schnauzer who is wearing her longer winter coat, like this. It gives off just enough mist without over dampening the hair. I like the easy way you can remove the hair.
