The Cat measures approximately 10 1/2 in wide x 7 in tall, while the base measures 11 1/2 in by 3/4 in. It has two 3/16 in holes drilled into the base for mounting. I bought this for my adult daughter's house, as she loves cats. I thought she would want this on her mailbox as that is what it is designed for, but she didn't care for the look of her mailbox afterward. So, I put it on the edge of the roof of her storage shed, and it looks great there, very realistic at a quick glance. It is well made and has sealing washers included.

Well-made, well-packaged, shipped fast. Good value. All hardware including good rubber grommets. Wingnuts make it easy to secure to inside of mailbox. Sealing plastic screw caps make it finish off nice and crisp. We mounted ours to a new Gibraltar Mailboxes Patriot Large Capacity Rust-Proof Plastic Black, Post-Mount Mailbox. Fresh start deserved a kitty topper. I am certain it will outlast the mailbox here in warm Sedona, AZ.

We needed a new mailbox, and when I found this mailbox topper on Amazon, I knew we had to have it. My wife loves cats and anything to do with cats, so this was a perfect topper for our new box. The topper attached easily and securely with the included hardware, although drilling the holes in a straight line on the curved top of the box was a small, but not insurmountable challenge. If you can install the box, you can easily install this box topper.
