Pretty good scratching post, my cat is a little long so if she was to do a full stretch shes too tall but its stopped her from scratching our couch since I put it in the spot she usually scratches.

Perfect for my cat that likes to scratch my couch. I lean it up against the side and she now scratches this instead of the couch! Love it!

I bought this cat scratcher for my sister’s kitty, and it was a great choice! We assembled it quickly, and her kitten is really enjoying it. It’s a perfect way to keep her busy and protect the furniture at the same time. Highly recommend!

Let it be said first that we have picky and large cats (one is 12 lb and the other is 15lb +). We have had the Ultimate Cat Scratcher (by SmartyCat) which is extremely sturdy and excellent, but only one of our cats likes it. The other cat will stretch up against tall vertical sissal/rope things but will only actually scratch low things and horizontal things and preferably those with the texture of carpet. We have therefore several kinds of scratchers around the house, including the infinity-sofa thing made of cardboard (also very excellent). We bought this L-shaped one because we needed something relatively unchunky to lean against a (to-be-delivered) new chair so that the cats might perhaps scratch that instead of the chair. This scratcher has been leaning against the wall where the new chair will eventually be, and BOTH cats love it and use it almost exclusively. Perhaps it's because it isn't very tall, or perhaps it's made of cardboard, or perhaps it has a horizontal base thing that's also cardboard, who knows. It isn't anywhere as stable as the Ultimate Cat Scratcher, because it's cardboard; regardless, the shape works perfectly with the Physics of scratching angle, downward force, etc. Sometimes they will sit or lie on the horizontal base like it's a chair. The base is not reversible but the vertical section is, which is fabulous, because we expect to be flipping it over soon, at the rate at which the cats have been using the front side. One point: when in use, the top of the vertical section does thump lightly (no noticeable sound, just the action) against the surface behind it (in our case, a wall), so we intend to affix some kind of felt strip to that top edge to save the wall paint. Overall, we are pleased and surprised by how much our cats like this - it somehow combines all their favorite elements of the other scratching things in the house. Thumbs up.

i have two of these in my apartment — i didn’t expect my cats to like them so much cause they’re picky (typical)these come with a lil pouch of catnip which i didn’t need to use to lure them away from the joy of scratching my furniture :)the little white fluff ball that comes with these is quite possibly their favourite toy ever — they love them so much, and despite playing with them every day they have not fallen apart. i recommend this product even just for the fluff ball lol

My cat was scratching the pieces of cardboard the minute I took them out of the box. I had to put it together while she was trying to scratch it :) It did what I had hoped and kept her away from my furniture. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't last very long for the money. I was able to reverse the top piece but the bottom won't easily reverse and she has shredded both parts. I would like this a lot better if I could reverse all the parts for extra wear and if I could get replacement parts at a cheaper price. I don't like throwing away the framing.

This item, although with one plastic screw broken, made up for the problem with a ball that has a loop so when the kitties broke the ball from the elasticized string, it could be reattached again and again! The wood frame looks nice and the scratch post can be set up with the long or short scratching board on the floor. I also will try putting upside down before unscrewing and flipping the boards. Bought 2 to begin with door the price and might use a plastic screw from the second to secure the one I’m using. The kitties love it!!Would recommend the company to add one “extra” plastic screw in the package.

We have a tiny cat, bought may 11th, arrived a week later, may 30th already broken. To return I need to drop at ups, I don't have a ups near by and for anywhere else I don't get my full refund, don't buy, not worth it

The main pieces and braces for the order arrived but not the top crown piece. It’s costume jewelry really; I can’t imagine my car climbing up to try to tear at the last untoward bits of a structure so I really don’t mind but I wish I’d gotten all of the pieces still. Does the job: keeps her off of the nice chairs and sits nicely in one of our most decorated rooms without attracting any attention. She seems happy, the furniture seems happy, just a pity I couldn’t literally cap it off with the crowning piece.
