I didn't think a litter deodorizer like this existed. I have a VERY small apartment (650 SF), two cats with an automatic litter box. This is the best stuff on the planet. You can't even tell I have cats and you can see the litter box from my couch. It even removes the perfumed scent of the litter (thank goodness). The 2.2 lb canister lasted me four months, I added 1/2 cup (1/4 cup per cat) every time I emptied out the box.

This is amazing! With five cats (rescues), the litter box needs constant cleaning. Even after cleaning and adding new litter, it still smelled terrible. I just received and used this litter deodorizer twice, and the stink is gone! It really works!

I think this works effectively in terms of scent, but I really don’t like the small grainy black sand texture. We use Okocat’s less mess wood litter, which does a great job staying in the box. Now we have black sand every time our kittens jump out.If you already use a granular or sandy litter, this probably would be a good thing to try.

I have one of those automated litter boxes (the Pet Snowy, I like it! I've also had a Litter Robot, which I also liked), anyways! While the litter boxes do a good job of getting rid of the waste, you'd end up having a bit of smell left behind from the small clumps that didn't get sifted. Long story short, I put a tiny bit in with the litter (about 1/4 of a cup, probably a bit less) and NO SMELL! I use Dr Eisley's clumping litter (no scent) and mix it with a light-weight clumping grass seed litter, and I have minimal dust and no smell so I'm an extremely happy customer!

Fostering and rescuing 3 kittens from under a house in winter came with a lot of cuteness and a lot of smelly poop and pee! I had to find a solution to keep the stink down and this product was a great addition to my litter box arsenal. I used this product, boxiecat litter and Nonscents Cat litter deodorizer (fragrance free).. it changed our lives!! The kittens did have diarrhoea well 2 did and so it was pretty stinky. I firmed their stools up with Diggin’ Firm up Pumpkin powder (all on Amazon) mixed into their food. This firmed up their stools, then the charcoal and Nonscents helped alleviate the smell. I mean almost non existent!! We are thrilled it worked. I have no complaints. Doesn’t track, killed the smell and kittens were fine with it. I used it as directed so it will last a long time. We have 5 litter boxes and you wouldn’t know it! Walking into the house now is stink free! Buy this.. it’s brilliant!

These work great. When the scoopable litter starts smelling I sprinkle this on, mix it in and clean the edges if there is any mess and it will extend the life of the litter. I also mix in some of this when I first fill the litter box to help control odors longer. I learned the hard way I had to mix it in. The first time I used it I did not and one of my cats had to come and get me to look at the litter and had a little chat with me that this would not work. I mixed it in while she chattered and she got right in with no problem.

I maybe notice a slight difference in litter smell when I use this. I’ve purchased larger bags of activated charcoal that were not advertised as “litter deodorize” for a better price, and it worked the same IMO.

I have two cats and a standard plastic tub litterbox. My litterbox is pretty close to my front door, so I’m paranoid about the scent greeting you first thing when you come inside.This really does work to lower cat odors coming from the box. Even my housemate said she noticed a difference. We can’t smell anything anymore when you walk past the box (unless it’s within like 10 min of a cat doing their business)I hate those baking soda based odor eliminators; most litter box odor destroyers just use perfume to mask things. It’s overpowering and gross, and the cats hate them.This stuff is totally unscented. It just reduces the odor in the box overall. Cats had zero problems adapting, and my cats are very uncomfortable around change.I think it does extend the life of the litter by about a week, as well.
